Taco Bell — Restaurant in Steubenville

I tried ordering a quick dinner online to save time so I could make it to a scheduled event I was attending. Well the app charged me for the order but said there was an error with the payment and didn't process the order... however, I got an email stating that my card was indeed charged. I go inside this fine dining establishment and tell the gentleman working. I showed him the order status along with my email stating that I paid and he looked at me sort of with disbelief in his 20 something year old brown eyes. I showed him the online "cart" and the email receipt I received.

He walked to the back hollering "do you have an online order on your screen?" The drive through worker said "nope", so he returned and said there is no order.

So after 90 seconds of a confused blank stare at one another, I said I am going to try again standing here so you can see what happens. I held out hope that it would work and I would be on my jolly way with my customized no rice no beans extra steak keto friendly power bowl in tow (along with my wife and kids items as well).

Same thing. Paid but no order.

He said "yeah, I am not sure" in a sort of skater dude meets Ice Cube on Friday mixed with dazed and confused moon tower thinking about aliens type of way.

After 15 seconds of what seems like a practical joke prank he looks at me then about faces and goes into the Managers office. He returned from what must be the place that nobody returns from 3 minutes later with a post it note with a 1800 number on it and says that it is a separate thing from them and they cannot do anything about it. Not sure if the managers office is Narnia type world or a time machine, but I haven't seen a post it note vaguely handwritten since 11th grade history class that Mrs. Farrar wrote for me to take to the office to give to the principal.

I say "okay."

Now it has been 10 minutes on an extremely tight schedule. I go to ask if I can just place the order traditionally, he walks away to wait on someone who just walked through the door. Never making eye contact with me again even though the people ordering had to wait on a third person to enter.

I stood there at the counter, not causing a scene.. looking around and nobody acknowledged me after that. So I looked at a customer who was waiting on his order from before I strolled on this wonderful day and he kind of shook his head. Old school dude with a biker beard. I told him what happened and as he gave me a speech about "that's why he don't do cell phones", I thanked him and walked out.

I got in my car (with 3 hungry kids,a hungry wife, and my own winnie the pooh style tummy rumbly) and I called the 1800 number immediately and the lady basically told me that within 3 days the money SHOULD be refunded since it wasn't attached to an order that would be made by the restaurant. If it doesn't get refunded by then I am to call back and they can do it manually. So for now I spent $40 bucks on one sided conversations and blank stares while arriving at my scheduled appointment late and...

I stopped by ask for breakfast bowl which I understand they don't have those normally if I ask for breakfast bowl someone normally makes it from whatever burrito it is that I pick into a container the lady named Mary who claim she was the general manager stated they did not have those I said I understand they normally take whatever burrito that I choose and they put into a container and they normally ask me whatever I want on it and I get charged extra for whatever I get she proceeded to keep telling me that they do not have breakfast bowls I say ma'am I understand that she got upset and said she wasn't serving me because I was yelling at her which I was not yelling at her I'm talking through a intercom for Christ sakes so then a guy hops on he wouldn't give me his name and tells me that they weren't serving me because they didn't want to they don't have to serve me I said I don't understand why I can't be served when I wasn't being disrespectful I wasn't being rude I just asked for something and she was like well I can give you a container I said yes the burrito whatever I choose from The breakfast menu and you make it to a bowl that's normally what I get all the time when I come so I'm never had any issue she proceeded to tell me she wasn't doing it and that this wasn't Burger King and I couldn't have it my way which lets me know she wasn't a general manager because general managers does not talk like that and they proceeded to tell me that if I didn't get out the line they were going to call the police I called to ask for the store number and the guy's name and he hung up on me service there is very horrible it is the Steubenville Taco Bell on sunset I'm very upset for how I was treated because if she would have just said I can't make that I'd been fine she proceeded to just tell me she wasn't doing it and was very rude both her and...

Had to return my food because the taco meat tasted burned and the nachos I ordered were all broken up into small pieces.. I spoke to the assistant manager whose name was Dom and he was very ignorant and unprofessional and actually accused me of wanting my money back after eating the food!! He specifically told me anyone can do this meaning I was returning part of my food for all of the money!! I did not even ask for all of my money to be refunded only the food I didn't eat and yet he returned all the money.. he was the most unprofessional person and I will never return there and the food was horrible the service the professionalism and the food has gone downhill I absolutely can't stand Taco Bell.. the worst experience I've ever had!! Steubenville Taco Bell is absolutely the worst don't waste your time.. and I can't express enough how ignorant and rude the manager was or should I say assistant manager and the employees they were almost laughing at me as I was explaining my issue with the assistant manager it's just so unprofessional and ignorant.. it makes me wonder how they still could be in business?¿?
