Steubenville Bakery — Restaurant in Steubenville

EDIT: 3/21 contrary to the hours posted here on Google, they are NOT open on Mondays.. Still only operating three days each week......... Although the place looks kinda sketchy on the outside, they do make THE absolute best bread I have ever had.... I, along with countless others, am very happy to see that the bakery has reopened albeit only three days a week at the present time (Feb, 2018)... If you have never been here before, I guess you are supposed to use the unmarked door located several feet to the right of the "main entrance"... I am not from Steubenville so I'm not too sure about this but in the couple decades I have been stopping here for bread when passing through, I have never seen anyone use the main door where the lighted "open" sign is now located... It's a very odd setup to say the least but if you are lucky enough to come out of that unmarked door with some hot fresh bread of any of the several styles they make (loaves, flats, rounds, and rolls) you will not be able to get very far without digging in to your cache of goodness for a quick treat... Hopefully this place returns to full time operations as three days a week from 10 am to 3 pm is not enough- especially for us out of towners who happen to be passing through on the...

Wow!! My first time here. I picked up a loaf of their Italian bread to take home for dinner. I and my family loved it. We ate it with pasta and had enough left over to use this delicious bread with it’s awesome golden crust and and soft interior to make grilled cheese sandwiches the following night. They were absolutely fantastic!! The Steubenville Bakery is located on a side street in Steubenville in an unassuming building but their sign is easy to see and parking is available right in front of the building.
