Sugar Bar — Restaurant in Stevens Point

I do not like leaving poor reviews, especially for local businesses, but I absolutely need to write one for this place since I am appalled by the experience. First, my friends and I went there and the worker looked like they didn’t want to be there and provided us very poor service. We were the only people in the bar at the time. On top of that, my friend got way overcharged on her card and when she called to ask about the charges to find out what happened the owner swore at her and didn’t offer any help and hung up. He also ignored her call when she attempted to call again. This is ridiculous for a business owner, especially a local business that get the support of the local community to keep them in business. I have only visited this bar one time and that will be the only time I visit this bar and I will make sure if anyone suggests this business that I will tell them how unprofessional and rude they are and that they should...

If you want a sensational martini, cocktail or enter said alcoholic beverage that is not some bland combination of ------ & soda pop then GO TO THE Sugar Bar! You do not have to be dressed to impress, it's not that kind of snooty establishment. It's Welcoming and Real. You are encouraged to have something other than the bubble gum / candy cane drinks, but if that's your thing you'll still be totally Happy, As for me the traditional "Dirty" (As Genna Jamison) martinis I had were to die for. Hats off to Ryan/Bryan? (that's a testament to how good the drinks were) a competent and completely cordial...

Not only is it very clean and a good atmosphere. I left my debit here for a week. Being an hour away I wasnt able to come and get it but the owner kept in touch with me throughout the week and that right there is enough to give 5 stars. This establishment is great from bar tenders up to managment. I'll be back. (Hopefully I wont leave my card again)...
