This place really hit the spot. Just one of those classic Chicago spots where the focus is all about the food. You can smell the grilled sausage and onions as soon as you walk in, that alone had me sold. I ordered the Polish sausage, I just wanted something solid. But this one totally surprised me. It was loaded with chopped onions, thick tomato slices, a big crunchy pickle, and a couple sport peppers. Not your usual Maxwell Polish. The sausage was grilled just right, nice and crisp on the outside, and super juicy when I bit into it. It came out hot, fresh, and fast, maybe a 5-minute wait. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for a solid Polish or just want to try something that feels classic Chicago, this is it.

You might of been famous when u first started, the hot dog I just ordered and ate was far from famous. It was infamous for having a unsteamed bun or over steamed where the ends are hard and the bun breaks apart. Relish may of been in quarantine because I really didn't see any ,,,more onions than anything . The tomatoes where fresh and it just seemed like another bum hot dog thrown together and wrapped up . There's a famous hot dog it does exist with a poppy seed bun ,Vienna hot dog and trimimgs including relish onion pickle tomatoe and mustard and can't forget the celery salt . Im sorry but you need to change your sign or just start pumping out some famous hot dogs.

I went in on a Saturday with my wife and we tried the Saturday special, Superburger with fries, and we also ordered an Italian beef. The Italian beef had great flavor and plenty of beef. The superburger wasn't anything "super". It wasn't bad, but when you name a burger "super" it should stand out. It tasted like any other grilled burger from any other hot dog joint. With that being said, I definitely will be back to try other menu items in the future.

The food is pretty good but the service is terrible. i ordered 3 tacos two days straight and when i called in to order the guy told me i had to order 4 because they come in "two packs". Really didn't understand how you force someone to order 4 tacos instead of 3 especially since i ordered them in recent previous days. The guy was very rude on the phone telling me to hurry up and decided. I was hungry and is close to the job so i went on and ordered. When i got there, i asked the guy why couldn't i just order 3 like i have before. He told me the owner changed it today. So i saw the guy that i ordered 3 tacos from in the days past and asked him what happened? He told me they use 1 piece of chicken per two tacos and if they use half piece of chicken, the other piece gets thrown away. What a bunch of B.S. The tacos are reasonably priced but i added sour cream to them and ended up paying $2.80 + tax because the sour cream is 70 cents per taco with tax. They also have a rule if your food order is less then 10 dollars with a credit card, you get charged .75 cents. Not only is that ridiculous, its ILLEGAL! So for 4 tacos and a small fry i was charged approx $15.oo. I was very hungry so i paid it. Then the guy tells me as I'm leaving if i call again with an attitude, he will hang up on me. I asked for his managers number, he told me it was hard to get a hold of the manager. They will loose some good business...

I grew up eating Donald’s, there was a few year hiatus when I didn’t go due to living farther away, and the first time I came back after so long felt like a time capsule, the same cooks and owner, it’s like nothing changed every time you walk in feels like it’s 2010 all over again, I usually come in for the Wednesday special and not a single time have they ever messed up my order, if anything it feels like it’s only gotten better, their grilled cheese is probably one of the best grilled cheese you’ll ever have in your life, and I will stand by that till I die. Their simply amazing. Very reasonable price, and you’ll always feel filled to the brim after eating there 11/10 always recommended it to outsiders of the area, everyone around the area already knows their the best. Thank you for never changing. Though I do miss the out side patio they had...
