Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. I placed 4 order through the mobile app for curbside pickup. 2 orders were cheeseburgers and 2 orders were McChickens. The app would not let me use the points I accrued all at once so I had to use them separately. I received only 1 of each sandwich. I called the store and spoke to the manager Anna. She was beyond rude. I explained to her how I am Missing some food items and she told me I never actually placed them when I have all 4 receipts with my orders. She insulted my intelligence by saying I probably placed the orders for different locations. Come on really? She wouldn't even give me the time of day to show her the receipts that show the store location and my orders. I even gave her the order numbers. I called corporate and was told the owner would reach out to me. This was on the 28th of October. I still haven't heard anything yet. I work at the car dealership down the street. Which is a lot of their business. And as you know, I will be telling my colleagues and every customer that walks through our door that if they are going to McDonald's, they should go to the location on Harlem by 79th. Read moreI usually don’t write reviews of any place but what happened to me at this McDonald’s is worth sharing as a warning for others.
I walked in the front door and ordered a meal on the kiosk machine. I tapped my card to pay and the screen froze on “processing ..please wait”. The order never went through and when I asked the staff to help me they all just shrugged and said there was nothing they could do since they couldn’t see an order number. Basically I was robbed digitally and the employees can’t do anything about it and simply told me to come back when the manager is there.
Called McDonald’s corporate and they told me they would submit a claim to the specific location but they could not give me any type of refund either. Now I’m making this review because of $12.08 which may seem like a little amount to make a big fuss over but it’s about the principle. It could’ve been someone else with a bigger order than me.
Absolute worst I’ve felt at a fast food place. I was treated as just some annoyance and initially the lady in the back with the bright green vest didn’t believe me when the cashier asked her to help me. Absolutely unbelievable.
