I recently had the pleasure of ordering from Albawadi through Uber Eats, and I must say, the experience was fantastic! Here’s a breakdown of the delightful dishes I enjoyed:
Falafel: The falafel was perfectly crispy on the outside and wonderfully soft on the inside. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the spices were just right. It was a great start to the meal.
Fries: The fries were hot, crispy, and seasoned to perfection. They arrived fresh and maintained their crunch, which can often be a challenge with delivery. They made for a great side dish and paired well with everything.
Shawarma: The shawarma was absolutely delicious. The meat was tender and well-marinated, wrapped in soft, fresh pita. The balance of flavors with the garlic sauce and fresh vegetables was spot on. It’s definitely a must-try for anyone ordering from Albawadi.
Arayes: The arayes were a pleasant surprise. These grilled pita sandwiches stuffed with minced meat were savory and satisfying. They had a nice char from the grill, adding a smoky flavor that complemented the well-seasoned filling.
Hummus: The hummus was incredibly creamy and smooth, with a rich, authentic flavor. It was garnished with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of paprika, making it not only delicious but visually appealing. It paired perfectly with the falafel and pita.
Kunafa: To end the meal on a sweet note, I had the kunafa, and it did not disappoint. The cheese was gooey and delicious, while the crispy pastry provided a lovely contrast. The syrup added the right amount of sweetness without being overwhelming.
Overall, my experience with Albawadi was exceptional. The food arrived quickly and in great condition, thanks to Uber Eats. Each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail, making for a memorable meal. I highly recommend Albawadi for anyone looking to enjoy authentic and delicious Middle...
Read moreDO NOT EVER SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. If I could, I would have rated -1,000,000. We ordered tabbouli, grape leaves, fries, kibbeh, mixed shawarma platter, and a mixed grill platter. The tabbouli is exorbitantly overpriced for the tiny plate you get, but I wouldn’t have minded had it been edible. The parsley was so coarse you could choke on it. It also tasted bitter and had a very off flavor, as if one of the ingredients had gone bad. It had no mint, no green onion, and had a teaspoon of tomato on top of the parsley pile. The kibbeh needed salt and had a thick outer layer; pretty boring not well seasoned. The fries were the frozen seasoned kind you get from walmart. The grape leaves were embarrassingly horrible. They had no flavor of mint or parsley or any of the flavor they are supposed to have. The rice filling was so gummy it sticks to the roof of your mouth. The shawarma was old, dry, flavorless, and cold. Both meat and chicken. It tasted like it was grilled, but had no seasoning whatsoever. The garlic sauce didn’t taste like garlic or anything else for that matter, and the “tarator” had no flavor of lemon or salt. It was literally watered down tahini. The rice that comes with both the shawarma and mixed grill is 1/2 kabseh/mandi half Jordanian mansaf rice. The kabseh/mandi had a sort of curry spice flavor and the Jordanian rice is just colored yellow with no flavor at all. Last but definitely not least, the mixed grill. The tawook and the kafta were the only good thing on that platter. Both tasted of exactly what they’re supposed to. The kabob, however, was ridiculously chewy and tasted so gamey. I’m not sure if they used lamb that was bad or something but it was horrible tasting. We literally left with over half the food still in the plates. Total came out to...
Read moreHospitality is very warm and welcoming. I was excited to get home to eat after a long day upon picking up two big bags for a full house at home. I merely picked the bag up to check that both salads were inside-the whole thing poured out from the bottom, ripping the paper bag. This is due in part because the containers were not adequately sealed, but even more so just the ineffectual type of containers themselves, coupled with being in a paper as opposed to plastic bag, leaking out the contents. I back tracked 5 minutes to the restaurant and took the ripped bag inside. I pulled up in front to clean the food from all over my floorboards and it had even leaked through into some very important documents on the backseat. This grievance obviously exuded in my demeanor though I tried not to show it. Restaurant manager Hamzah (sic) immediately grabbed the bag and assertively but congenially excoriated his staff to rectify the situation. Pickup window cashier Jihad assured me they would take care of it for me and not to worry. I went back out to my vehicle to clean it in front of the door in case they wanted to see for themselves that indeed the food was spilled all over the place. Although content percentage wise it was truly not that much compared to the whole that was preserved. In spite of this, when I went back inside, Jihad had prepared even more extra food than what I had lost, much more. I felt this was a very kind gesture. Mistakes happen but how they are handled speaks so much more volumes than the minuscule problem itself. This is a very kind staff and they faced the accountability in stride and took the extra measure that I would feel inclined to come back. Which we definitely will be doing so. Thank you all because the food itself is absolutely...
