Part of my order was forgotten last time I ordered from here, so instead of driving all the way back to the restaurant (like I had to do the previous time I ordered from here) I called them and they told me they'd write my name down for a free appetizer on the next order.
Today I placed an order and mentioned this, they looked up my name and asked if the fajita toppings were "all" that I was missing. Yes, we were missing all of the toppings and the tortillas. The lady on the phone asked what appetizer I would like and she suggested the cheese dip. I asked for the onion rings and she said no, can't do that, those are too expensive.
Okay.
I get there to pick up the order and mention again that we would rather have the onion rings than the cheese dip. She says sure, and begins to put in the order. The lady I spoke to on the phone heard this and came to the front to say they can't do that as the onion rings are 8 dollars.
Usually with our 3 meal order they give us 2 salsas and two bags of chips. I guess this time we only get one bag of chips and 1 salsa because of the free cheese dip (which was meant to be compensation for the missing food on our last order).
The meal in the picture is the 2 Chile Relleno combo meal. It was 12.95. You can see the refried beans ended up all over the rest of the food which is usually fine, but of course they were burnt and had a terrible burnt bean flavor to them.
Edit: I've eaten nothing today and now I'm feeling sick and know to plan the rest of my night around the bathroom. I really didn't expect the food to be as bad as the service was - both have always been great in the past.
This is a very unfortunate loss of a customer that's been eating here for...
Read moreI really wanted to give this place a 1 ⭐️ due to shitty service the cashier provided. I ordered my food at 7:39pm and the cashier told me to park in a to-go spot and she will bring it out to me. I said ok great l, I’m already in a to-go spot, she asked me my make and model of my car and color, I told her my information and walked back to my car. I looked at the time and it read 8:25pm. I walked in the restaurant and asked the cashier about my food and she said what is the name m. I said I didn’t give one because you didn’t ask me. She found my receipt and proceeds to the “to-go” table and there was my food!!! Getting COLD!!! I asked her how long has my food been sitting there? She said oh about 10 minutes. I said so I’ve been sitting in this hot car for almost an hour and you said you would bring my food to me. Waitress says well ma’am everyone makes mistakes.. I said that was no mistake that was careless of you. Waitress said well we have other customers to attend to. I said I AM A PAYING CUSTOMER and walked out. I noticed she only gave me 2 sauces for 9 tacos, so I go back in and asked for 1 additional sauce. Mins you I asked for extra sauce when I placed my order… so if you were going to charge me it should had been at the beginning of the POS!!! I asked for a manager and she came right out and looked at my receipt and the waitress began speaking saying I told her it would be an additional charge. The manager said no it will not be a charge, and walked in the back and brought me two additional sauces for free. Thank you Melissa for being so kind and refunding my entire order once I made it home and taste the food.
Now on a good note: The...
Read moreFirst off, 4.50 for an authentic Mexican taco, in what world is 4.50 an acceptable price for that? When there are a dozen restaurants in the area that serve them for 2.50 or less.
The chips and salsa were stale and watery. But still good enough to keep munching on them
When I questioned the server about what kind of Tamale was served with the number 7 combo she only responded “it will either be chicken or beef cause that’s the only two we have.” But their menu stated they only had chicken or pork, and it really didn’t make sense she wouldn’t know what came with the number 7 combo.
Food: I ordered a number 7 combo: Cheese Enchilada, Tamale (requested chicken), beef taco.
I was served a pork tamale even after being told I could request chicken but I have no dietary restrictions so it was fine.
The plating seemed to be a mess, and the food was overly salted but still pretty bland.
And the sauce covering the top enchilada and tamale tasted not fresh with no real flavor.
My husband ordered the half order of beef supreme nachos. They loaded him on beef and toppings but under portioned the chips compared to the toppings leaving the few chips like mush. Yet still super salty and bland.
And they charged like 4 dollars to make his nachos supreme???
Overall Thoughts.
Not my favorite tex mex spot and probably will not be back, the portioning on the food was good but even with good portions that doesn’t make up for the price on such bland food but salty food.
Will probably stick to my...
