My son attend's Georgia Cyber Academy (GCA). For those who aren't familiar with GCA, it is an online charter school. Since, classes are strictly held online, all state mandated exams must be given at a particular location, which is chosen by the school. I visited the center (along with other parents) because my son had to take an exam for a Literature course. We were not allowed to wait inside the center for our children. Mind you, the center isn't located near my home, as matter of fact, it is in an entirely different city. Not to mention it was near 100 degrees outdoors. My only option was to sit outside the center (for 3 hours in the scorching heat, sit in my vehicle and keep cool by running the air, ride around or go to the park adjacent to the center). I chose non of the above. Instead, I visited the Cochran Library, which wasn't to far from the center.
