If I could give zero stars to this place I would. I called today when this place opened and pre- ordered 3 large pizzas for my special education class party which my students' earned through good behavior and have been excited for nearly a month. I asked for the pizzas to be delivered at 12:50 p.m. 12:50 rolled around, no pizzas. I thought, okay, I'll give them a bit. I called at 1 p.m. as our class party had started and I had hungry and eager students. The man on the phone sad that the driver was out and it would be any minute. I assured my students it was on its way and let them eat some chips and cookies. 1:15, still no pizza, so I went to the office to see if maybe the delivery was pulling up. I also asked the front desk if they've received any calls, nope. By 1:20, I was heated because my students' have to be out waiting for their buses by 1:30 p.m. At about 1:25, I called again and the guy on the phone said the driver had tried to call the school because she was having trouble finding it. I told him that was a lie because I asked the office. How could the driver not find a public school in Stockton, California? I told him that either he or his driver was lying and hope he realizes that they completely ruined my students' Halloween Party. He said sorry, but very non chalantley. He never offered to make it up to my class in any way. Way to Pizza Hut on having incompetent workers that have no costumer service skills...

I saw on my camera app that the driver arrived, no notification from the delivery app, no ring of the door bell but I didn’t mind, so I started making my way to the front of the house, I took about 1-2 minutes to get out to the front (disabled so it messes with my mobility). By then the delivery driver left so I called and spoke with the manager. Apologized and was cut off and told they would bring it back if “someone was ACTUALLY going to be home” I apologized again and did let them know Im disabled and don’t move as fast as I would like but I would be happy to wait in the living room until the driver was able to come back. The driver arrives and rushes up to my door, Im thinking he must be nervous so I go to meet him at the door and say “hello”, was literally about to thank him for coming back and apologize to him in person but he was MAD. I got cut off after I said hello and was met with “WHAT, you did hear me out here the last time I was here?” I apologized again because frankly he was making me nervous and I did honestly feel bad he had to come back out. He just said “yeah” and shoved my food at me before he stomped off. I say all this to say I do understand customer service can be frustrating and draining I really do, however I really don’t appreciate being talked to like that. So this statement is not against Pizza hut but it's regarding Pizza hut utilizing doordash to deliver my Pizza. Sadly my Pizza was extremely cold and I feel that a company should not use doordash to deliver a customer's food. I didn't go through the doordash app because I refuse to use doordash delivery for the very reason I experienced my food being cold. And for other sanitation issues. It's not fair that company doesn't ask your preference if you'd like to use a 3rd party to handle your food. I hope that one day restaurant's will no longer utilize doordash ro deliver if the customer places the order directly through the restaurant. 3rd party chains do not value the customer nor do they care to delivery the same service because they aren't held accountable due to not being employed by the restaurant they are delivering for.
