Every time I go here it’s very unprofessional. They seem to not know what they are doing half the time. The most recent time I went here was to drop off a package for FedEx ground. I dropped off this large fragile package which was 24x20x20 give or take. Just to give you an idea how big it is. I put giant fragile stickers on all sides. The guy still tossed the box into the bin. I came back 2 minutes later to drop off a letter through usps. In doing so I noticed he put my FedEx package in the USPS bin. When I told him he proceeded to grab and toss it again on its side into the FedEx bin. This box had $300 worth of electronics so this was very upsetting to see how he was just tossing my box around with giant red fragile stickers on each side. I dropped off this package Friday morning. I do the drop offs every week to 3 other places which always have the package delivered in 2-3 days. Always! There’s always an update on the first day. Tuesday now and it still says labor created and that’s it. So I call Office Depot and they say they have no record or my package. But if it existed it was probably picked up by FedEx and they didn’t scan it. So he put the blame on fed ex. So I call fed ex and they open an investigation on Office Depot. Well it turns out my package was taken out of the bin and was sitting at the store since Friday. It’s now Tuesday evening. FedEx finally picks up and sends an update immediately per usual. They give me an estimated delivery date which is the 2 days. That’s what it always takes with all the other places. So that means Office Depot held on to package for 5 days and lied to me and only sent the package out because fed ex contacted them about. I was counting on this package to be delivered on Tuesday so I can receieve payment that day. But now I am having to wait an extra 3 days because of office depot’s incompetence. This unacceptable. If you need to send out your items through Fed Ex please don’t use them and risk them losing your things. And just to Pak mail or Postal Plus. They make sure your package is in route that same day not 5 days later or possibly longer had there not been an investigation...
Read moreI am a college student and recently purchased a printer from the Office Depot location on March Lane in Stockton. Yesterday, my printer ran out of ink, so I took a few pictures of the printer and went to the store to ask for assistance in finding the correct ink cartridge. Since I was unsure which cartridge my printer required, I provided the store employee with the printer’s name and model number. Based on this information, the employee retrieved an ink cartridge for me, which cost $54.
However, when I returned home and attempted to install the cartridge, I realized it was the incorrect size. I returned to the store and explained the situation to the employee, who then called the manager. Unfortunately, the manager informed me that store policy does not allow returns on opened ink products, despite the fact that the mistake was made by their staff.
I then contacted Office Depot’s corporate customer service while still in the store. A corporate representative confirmed that the store should process a return or exchange due to the error. I handed the phone to the manager, who agreed to comply and ended the call. However, after speaking with her store manager, she later refused to process the return or exchange, citing store policy.
This lack of communication and accountability is frustrating and unacceptable. As a college student working part-time to cover my expenses, I cannot afford to lose money due to an error made by store employees. I am requesting a refund for the incorrect ink cartridge that was sold to me.
I would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and a resolution at your earliest convenience. Please let me know how this issue can...
Read moreOn me I picked the wrong location for my online copy order.
I got there and though there were five waiting customers at one point; there was only one person to serve everyone.
He didn't really acknowledge me or let me know what was going on for quite some time, I am talking five minutes or more. He finally stated that someone was on lunch.
A customer's son vomited and we tried to tell him, he dismissed us and said someone was coming. When the person arrived it was to help the customers, not to help with the vomit. At which point we told him he should not be so quick to dismiss people. Rather than apologize, an unnecessary conversation ensued.
Though I received an email stating my order was completed, paid for and ready for pickup. I still had to wait in line as if I hadn't done anything of these things. They have online orders ready for you, but nothing to speed copy orders on there way.
I definitely recommend the Quail Lakes location. They are more fully staffed and have excellent customer service!
Due to customer's son who vomited and the delay in getting it cleaned up I was given cuts in line. Even still spent 8-12 minutes to pick up my order that was done...
