I recently dined at a Siamese Street Thai restaurant after weeks of craving Thai cuisine. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. I ordered the red curry with regular rice, expecting a satisfying meal. However, I received a small appetizer portion, a modest cup of chicken curry with minimal chicken, bell pepper, and pumpkin, accompanied by a modest portion of rice—all for a hefty $17. Surprisingly, there was no offer for a refill or inquiry about my satisfaction with the meal. Upon receiving the check, the lack of attentive service became even more apparent.
Seeking resolution, I requested to speak with the manager. Regrettably, she expressed an inability to address pricing, portion concerns, or service level, and offered a simple apology before departing. My disappointment stemmed not only from the portion size relative to the cost but also from the absence of attentive service throughout the meal. This experience has left me unsatisfied, highlighting potential reasons for the business's...
Read moreI have been patronizing Siamese for years, post and pre-pandemic...I didn't even mind the $3 increase on my favorite dish, Pad Thai, extra spicy. I always ordered in, and always brought a few of my co-workers with me on our lunch hour. We'll, I had a taste for my favorite dish this Sunday, and to say the least, I was so very disappointed!!!😞 The Pad Thia noodles were mush!!!! I believe they were swept up from the floor from the week because the noodles were broken into very small pieces...thought that I was eating rice! WTH? Siamese, you have lost not only me as a repeat customer but my many co-workers and their friends and families that have frequented your establishment. Have a talk with your Sunday chef because for $18.50, I expected the same experience as if I...
Read moreThe sweet basil fish tasted like it was microwaved out of a box and slid onto the plate, both our Pad Thai and Pad Ke Mao (they call it sweet basil noodles or something) were next to tasteless it was like eating gruel with chunks in it. The meat in both noodle dishes were not seasoned at all, as was the case with the Saiamese rice with beef we ordered. Sadly it was a take out order and not dining in or I would have asked for a refund and left after trying the food. To top it off it seems they are used to rich UOP kids since it was over $70.....Royal Siam I am sorry I disgraced you by eating food here it was late and you were closed.. Ps don't order the Thai iced tea it's powder and milk unlike most places where they make the actual tea concoction....
