Tommy's Cafe — Restaurant in Stockton

I came here last week with a friend of mine and our children, and we were disrespected when we went here by the staff. As soon as we come in, we are asked to sit at a table, but with two babies and a toddler we'd prefer to sit at a booth. A booth was open, but dirty, so we told the cashier we would wait for a booth. Then, our waitress comes out. She places our menus at a table and tells us to sit. Again, I say no thank you. We'll wait for a booth. She makes an annoyed face and leaves. Me and my friend don't know what's happening. But she then comes back to clean it up. We are seated and when she comes to take our order we aren't given a single smile. No customer service. Just says, "You ready?". When she comes back with our orders, I tell her she got my daughters order wrong. I ordered off the kids menu which says you will get a side of potatoes and toast along with the order. We only got the potatoes. She then TELLS ME, "No it doesn't ". Like excuse me?? I think I can read. So, I grab a menu, and guess what? It does say you get toast as well. I show her the menu after she's denied me MULTIPLE TIMES now, and then she says, "Yeah it's on the way!" Like as if she hasn't been telling me her order doesn't come with it at all. We were also stared at by everyone that was dining in the Cafe as well. Never...

This place was absolutely FOUL! Husband & I decided to give another place a go for eating, as we got tired of going to the same place to eat over & over again. As SOON as we walked in, there was a foul odor in the air that seemed to have been there a while. There was food all over the floor, clearly not cleaned up for a while, and it seemed like the place was falling apart. Tables that were empty weren't actually cleaned properly, just wiped with a dirty wet cloth that was used for every table (not even redipped into clean water, just moved from table to table wiping and leaving nasty stuff all over the tables that were 'cleaned'). We sat down, rewiped our table & chairs with baby wipes, bc ew. The server (I forgot their name) WAS quick, and we got our drinks pretty fast, however, after ordering food, we waited for approx 45minutes for our food to actually get to our table. Just moved to Stockton decided to have breakfast at this establishment. When I entered the front door I wasn't greeted nor did anyone say I will be right with you, in fact I was looked over. I stood there for about 3 minutes and asked one of the 4 waitress do I seat myself at that time she walked me to my table. While all of the waitress smiled and cattered to the customers in the Cafe the body language and the rush to order was very obvious that my skin Color was an issue. Nevertheless I ordered my breakfast and when it came out she brought me toast that was old and hard as a brick. I asked the waitress could she bring me more toast and she said sorry they took mines. So you bring me toast that someone clearly threw to the side and thought I wouldn't recognize what toast look and taste like. The breakfast was pretty good overall but the service was horrible.
