Sugar Shack — Restaurant in Stonewall

This is for their food truck (NOT the sit-down business). Side note: we may be making a trip to Stonewall.

Their food truck is located in The Food Truck Park in Pineville, LA.

The food truck itself is very colorful.

The service was great.

They are a bit pricey. However, I have not tried their food yet. But I will soon. There were two other ladies that ordered baked potato meals. They looked really good. And a good size for the price.

I got the brownie with ice cream and turtle toppings. It was really good. My friend got a cheesecake flavored snow ball. I ate half of my brownie and ice cream before I remembered to take a picture of it. 😉 We will be returning to try their food and...

The previous owners of Sugar Shack are far superior to the new owners. I was 4th in line and waited 55 minutes to be told they were out of potatoes. They should have had someone outside telling customers they were out of stuff as there were 4 or 5 people inside, especially since the line was to the road at this point. Since they were out of potatoes I ordered a quesadilla and it was terrible. They definitely don’t use the same ingredients as the past owners. On a different day I waited 30 minutes for 4 sno cones. I was second in line and the people in front of me ordered 3 sno cones. I...

This place is great. The Potato Bombs are these HUGE baked potatoes, stuffed with some really good meats and fixings. But be warned: tackling the Crazy Cajun alone can be dangerous... delicious and worth the suffering, but dangerous... to your waistline! Lol. That said, live dangerously at least once. Or show some restraint and just get it on the nachos. Yeah, they have nachos too. And snow cones that are a meal in themselves. There is just too much good stuff in this little building to put in a review. Stop by and try it...
