Something Tastey is easily one of the best coffee shops Iâve ever been to, and it has quickly become a regular stop for me and my family. The first thing that drew me in was the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff here is incredibly nice, and itâs clear that theyâre grounded by faith, which creates such a peaceful and comforting vibe. Whether Iâm stopping by for a quick coffee or to sit down and use the free Wi-Fi while I work, I always feel at ease here.
Their coffee is, of course, excellent, but the real star for us has been the cookies. My kids canât get enough of them, especially the white chocolate macadamia nut and the classic chocolate chip cookies. Theyâre always fresh, perfectly baked, and just the right amount of sweet. Personally, I have a soft spot for their oatmeal raisin cookiesâtheyâre my favorite. Thereâs something about the blend of chewy oats and sweet raisins that just hits the spot every time. No matter what youâre in the mood for, their baked goods always deliver.
On top of the great food and coffee, the environment here is just so inviting. The free Wi-Fi is a huge plus when I need to get some work done, and I love that it never feels rushed or overly crowded. Itâs a place where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy a peaceful moment. Something Tastey is more than just a coffee shop; it feels like a little sanctuary where you can recharge with great food and a wonderful sense of community. Highly recommend stopping by if youâre ever...
Read moreBeing from out of town, this was our first time eating at this cafĂ©. When we went in, we were the only ones there, as they were closing in 45 minutes and apparently they really didnât want us in there! The person behind the counter was very rude, and did not help in the selection of our sandwich meats or breads, as we did not know we had a choice. She then got even more frustrated when I asked for my receipt after I paid with my debit card! The sandwiches we ordered were very good, except the pulled pork sandwich, which my husband had, was cold in the center. He did say it tasted good, but was cold, and it was supposed to be a warm sandwich. Even though the food was good, the service was so terrible that if and when we ever return to this part of Louisiana again, we will be sure and not go to this cafĂ©! Thereâs got to be other food places that would appreciate us coming in and treat us like they were happy to have us come in their eating...
Read moreI think itâs really rude when people base the quality of a restaurant off of the atmosphere. Letâs be honest here yâall, if itâs clean and the food is immaculate then thatâs all that matters. And I only say that because I thought there being no music was a little bit strange. But, again that doesnât effect the rating at all.
If youâve never been here, please eat here. What will you find? A menu similar to a chain like Jasonâs deli. The difference? The food is actually amazing. Weâre talking about, Jewish Deli in a major city level Reuben. Hands down, best Reuben in the south that Iâve ever had.
Come for the Reuben, stay for a cookie and then probably go home cause itâd be strange to just sit in there with no music...
