I was on the phone with a Verizon tech who was somewhere in the Northeast of the United States and when she found out that I was from the Shreveport Bossier area she asked me if I had ever had down-home sausage and I laughed and told her it was our families favorite and then I asked how does she know about it and she said she’s got a family member who lives in Shreveport who mails it to all of their family because it’s her family‘s favorite and she’s tried everything around where she lives and nothing comes close to down-home and she’s got her friends addicted to it now too so when she gets a new shipment they come over and eat it together.
