Stonington is a very small town not known for hospitality and we came in here to try their version of a lobster roll. Nice old man but obviously set in his ways to what his business is serving. We don’t eat mayo and he was hesitant to making it without it however he did and later before serving it asked if we would like hot butter which we said yes please. The roll was different from the typical having fresh chopped green onions and ground pepper with chilled lobster lightly topped with hot butter which we enjoyed. It was a “lobster salad” without having the mayo mess involved and came with a bag of chips.
