I go to this Culver's from time to time as I live in Stoughton. I will say that the traffic control is crazy sometimes. The lines for drive-thru will go all the way down the street as far as the stop sign. I've seen it go to the stop sign to the left as you're facing out the driveway and I've seen it go to the right as well several cars back so sometimes you're better off going inside. Even so, whether I come during a busy time or a slow time, I am always greeted with a smile. Obviously people yawn and people have their off days but I've never ever ever seen anybody mistreat anyone at this particular location. Even when there's super heavy traffic and the stress is inevitable, every employee that I have encountered and even seen in the background has just been working their tail off and still being friendly to the customers. I highly admire the team effort of this particular store. I work at Taco Bell myself so I am very familiar with customer service and it's not even close to my first fast food or customer service job. I know what these people encounter and experience on the daily and I highly admire that they keep it all together very very well. It's very stressful when the traffic is non-stop and you don't have time to fill things up and you don't have time to replenish things or clean tables and all those little side things that need to get done in the background. But they do it and they do it extremely well. So well in fact, I'm taking the time to write this review. I don't typically do this, only for above and beyond experiences. I suppose I should add that the food is always great too. Always hot sandwiches, fresh fries and curds, never had food here that wasn't exactly what I expected or...
Read moreRecently went through the stoughton drive thru. Ordered two orders of double butterburger baskets. They mistakenly put cheese on my both burgers and mayo on one that should not have had it. My daughter and I were driving to Chicago that night were already passing Janesville by the time we realized. This is not the first time our orders have been mixed up here but we go often as a family because its close and tastes good. Anyways I called to let them know the day after. I talked to a young lady whom said they would take care of us and asked for our address, but I asked her if we could just come back in with reciept and get our burgers redone. She said sure just come in and we will help you out. Her name was ann mary or avery or something that sounds close to that. I just cant remember exactly. Anyways I went in a few days later and was just shocked. Liz went to get a notebook that I guess they write down their complaints in. My name was not in there and she I did not call in, I was a liar and that I was trying to get a free meal, because it was not written in there notebook. At the time it didnt occur to me to show her my recent phone calls on my phone. She was very rude. I could not believe what was happening. I was offended and embarrassed. I just cant seem to let this go. I have never had anyone talk to me in...
Read moreStoughton Culvers has excellent staff and service. Rarely do I have a botched order from Culvers at any location. Culvers is a family favorite for soup, salads and burgers. The flavor of the day custard is generally a winner with us too. The roast beef dinner and cod fish dinner are favorites too. Not a huge fan of the tuna melt. Bland. Bbq pork isn't juicey enough for me but then it would be very messy if it had more sauce on it. Some extra sauce on the side to have when eating it would be nice. Since my last review, I've been back several times. I'd like to know what the magic word is to convey iced tea with no sugar means no sugar. Doesn't matter if you say unsweetened, no sugar, I wind up with sweet tea. It should be no sugar unless you ask for it like cheese on a burger. No cheese unless you ask for it. The guy who looks like the manager is always scowling. I've not seen him smile. He hands food out the drive up window sometimes. Here's one last comment about the ICED tea. Be sure to put ice in the cup so that when the customer finally gets the tea, it's cold, not warm (and sweet). I've started to go down the street to Arby's the last several times I've been in the area and wanted a drive through meal to take for later. Besides that Arby's has Coke...
