Absolutely love this place! Haven’t eaten anything I didn’t like. I have been going here for over two years.. I have recommended this place to more people of all walks of life than I can count. The food is amazing. However, and with the service we experienced today was a big disappointment. I understand it’s a small family owned and young servers, but that does not excuse not properly trained to be attentive to table and people you serve. The young lady who identified herself as the Ma manager never checked on our table, asked if we needed anything else another server we had to ask to bring our drinks while we waited. Another server brought us our food after we asked she was very attentive. Asked how everything was and so on so at the end of our meal we tipped her although she wasn’t our sever. Ours only attended to us when time to bring the bill. She has been there long enough to know better and do better. When a friend inquired about our meal due to someone who arrived and was on waiting list after us the cook insulted her intelligence by saying “this is not McDonald’s” everything is cooked fresh by order.. as if we didn’t know and appreciate this, he didn’t listen to what she was asking or give her a chance to talk, his demeanor was very bold rude. To be clear we don’t eat at McDonald’s! I didn’t appreciate the experience as I brought this person here for the first time. As I said I recommend MANY. I have people that travel over an hour to eat here. Nevertheless even under pressure we the customers bring the business. I hope no one including my referrals has this...

More of a like story than a love story. The food is really good. I had the shrimp and grits which were incredible. My friend had eggs and bacon and toast which were good. Thick cut bacon which I loved but my friend was just ok with. Alcohol drinks are available with breakfast.Comfortable atmosphere. My problem was with the service. The waitress didn't come by much, my friend needed milk for her coffee and she didn't come by till well after the coffee was gone. We are enjoying the food but with that bacon you really need water. Our waitress wasn't around so we asked the waitress for the table next to us for water and we got nothing, then our waitress came by to drop off the check and we asked her for water. Still nothing. So not only did we have a bad waitress but no teamwork either. This needs to improve. The other thing is that there's no sign out front except for the little sign on the post so if you don't know the area you can miss it easily like we did. The parking situation is not the best either. CASH ONLY!!!! the corner store next door charges 2 bucks to get cash. I will go back...

Stop by because folks always talked about the place. Here is my experience 1.parking- not bad Wait time- we were greeted and sat down right away! 3 environment- cold!! We kept our jacket on because it was so cold in the space. There was music playing nothing too bad or too loud but the speaker or the music kept stopping almost sounded like the player was out of the range Food- I had the shrimp, eggs cheese grits. The sauce on the grits was good. Shrimp was flavorful and good size. Egg was egg lol but the cheese was not to my liking. I like shredded cheese instead of slice cheese. The grits was a disappointment, lack flavor salt and everything. Would be great if when cooking the grits it was seasoned also! My daughter had pancakes which was good; eggs, bacon and home fries. All was good expect the bacon was too hard and again the slice cheese smh My husband that the oxtails with the Haitian fried rice. He liked it expect the oxtail was too spicy but he liked it.
