Lordship Corner Market — Restaurant in Stratford

Today, I visited Lordship Corner Market, and unfortunately, my experience was very unpleasant. When I asked the cashier about the availability of beer, she politely showed me where it was located. However, when I returned to the checkout with my purchase, the cashier and her colleague started laughing. When I asked what was happening, she replied that everything was fine, but they continued to laugh openly, which felt very disrespectful. Beautiful, homey place that's an incredible place to go and hang out. The deli is superb and the shelves are stocked with every little thing you need. The owners have done a remarkable job redecorating and it's easy to forget what it looked like before. I'm especially impressed with the seating. Having grown up in Lordship, I never could have imagined there'd be a cool coffee shop where you can read and hang out.

It's a reasonably good neighborhood deli if you are a carnivore, which I imagine 99% of their customers are. There are the usual basic vegetarian options (eggs, cheese) and no vegan options other than fruit, salad, crackers. There are some tables outside, in front.
