Think Greek should be renamed THINK INDIGESTION. Stopped in tonight to support a new restaurant ā¦. couldn't have been more disappointed. The food needs ALOT of improvement. Our waiter, Jesus, was nice and tried to please. The MOD, Ryan, was arrogant lacked customer service skills and solidified why we will NEVER return. My husband has owned several dining establishments - credibly featured on the Food Networkā¦.there is NO WAY this restaurant could possibly be genuinely promoted.⦠CONSUMER WARNING ā¦ā¦STAY AWAY!! On line menu indicated no alcohol so we bought two SCREW off wine bottles at liquor store in complex only to find out when we entered that they do serve wine. Spoke with MOD Ryan to explain the online confusion ⦠he was flippant and smug responding ā too bad youāll be charged a $25 corking fee.ā However, WE unscrewed both bottles and poured our own wine without any service. Had we not been misrepresented, we would have ordered wine there for far less than what we paid for the two bottles we purchased plus the illegitimate $50 corkage fee. Ordered 3 spreads $11.00 each) humus,( Zero flavor) Skordalia ( poorly seasoned essentially cold garlic mashed potatoes) Melitzanosalata ( eggplant with old refrigerator taste) and Saganakiā¦. (Served as a Burned glob of muenster cheese not pan fried feta, kasseri or halloumi cheese, as is Greek standard.) The chicken souvlaki platter was disgusting - undercooked and over salted, the lamb beef souvlaki was missing beef and was dry as leather. I get that chefs and new restaurants may have āa break in periodā but, with management like Ryan at the helm you are destined for OUT OF BUSINESS...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat a shame. We've been here many times and unfortunately tonight may have been out last. Very disappointing for a Greek person that wants to see the business thrive. It started with our server who told us he was new new absolutely nothing about the menu and kept telling us he was new. He was such a nice man but he should never have been on the floor as a server by himself. So then when we had asked him too many questions he brought the manager Brian over who tried to rectify the situation because we had received the wrong food items and another server by the name of Kendall code came over and told us to "calm down he's new". Totally out of place she had no idea that we had been trying to work with him and no business telling a customer to calm down. We were calm. We just wanted the right food. Having been here many times I've never seen the same personnel which says the turnover is rampant and that's certainly kiss of death for...
Ā Ā Ā Read more4 of us were so excited for a āratedā Greek place. NEVER NEVER go to this rip off place. We ordered a bottle of Retsina and we were surprised when we saw the brand was Malamatina. This is a well-known and very inexpensive wine in Greece. Retails for $2 to $7 dollars in Greece and probably $5 to $9 dollars retail in the United States. Google it to see if I'm correct. Anyway, one of our friends noticed that the price of this bottle of 500 mL (a very small bottle) was $40! It was already opened and thus hard to send back. We actually expected to drink 2 or three bottles with dinner. Not at $40/bottle. It only got worse from there. The manager was anything but reasonable. The food was mediocre (lamb souvlaki - so distant a copy of Greek cuisine). There must be better and less overpriced Greek food almost...
