We like this place. It has a charming atmosphere -- someone has given the place some love. Interesting artwork is fun to look at, the walls sport tastefully chosen paint colors, and an array of beautiful Italian masks (as in masquerade ball) covers two walls. You can eat outdoors in a fenced area adjacent to the parking lot. Parking lot al fresco isn't anyone's first choice ambiance, but they have made nice use of plants to warm up the space. It's surprisingly inviting in summer. The menu is extensive. There is pizza, of course, with not only the usual toppings but also goodies such as caramelized onions and sun-dried tomatoes. There are also plenty of pasta selections. Two I know are good are the primavera and the penne all vodka. A bit heavy on the sauce, but we like it homestyle. The food overall is good, and the desserts, which are brought in from elsewhere, are GREAT. Would give a fifth star but for the staff who are attentive and have hearts of gold; they just need to gab quieter and preferably not within earshot of every diner. It's as if you're eating in their break room. If the proprietors could tighten up this aspect of the restaurant, Rossini's...
Read moreMy friends and I went into this place to get some pizza, and since the price for the specific item that we were looking for wasn't on the menu we asked the waitress if she could tell us what it was. Even though we had been very respectful towards her and the other customers she seemed very annoyed with us and refused to give us the answer, because "she didn't have enough time for us". This made My friends and I very aggravated and upset. However, that was not the only time I have had a bad experience with the customer service. I also called for a delivery, and when they brought the wrong order to my house I called them back and told them it was wrong. As a hostess myself, I am familiar with "the customer is always right" rule. Apparently, she wasn't familiar with this and gave me an extremely rude attitude over the phone and told me that I had said my order wrong. Regardless; the delivery man was very nice and did a very good job, but this was my last chance with this place and it did not go well. I definitely will not be ordering from here again, because of my experience with that waitress/hostess and I strongly do not...

The name of this place is Rossini’s Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant, but they seem to be confused about the Italian part. Their website says they are a local “ destination for those who appreciate the pinnacle of Italian culinary expertise.” So, a couple things that don’t seem to quite match that description: They were playing moderately loud Latino/mexican music The menu includes a “Brazilian Burger”, and burgers, Reuben’s, a crispy chicken sandwich, French fries, etc. Bread rolls were served, with single serve packets of butter, Tables had salt and pepper and A1 Sauce??? But no olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Parmesan, or other more Italian staples. Had to ask for olive oil for dipping with our bread. Had to ask for Parmesan cheese for our pasta.
The food quality and taste was fine, but not so sure, in my opinion, it met the pinnacle of Italian cuisine. Service was decent.
Not a horrible place for Sudbury food scene….but would very much be nice to have a legit serious Italian restaurant. They’d benefit immensely from some focus and dedication to that. Would love that for the...
