Hardee’s — Restaurant in Suffolk

Usually I don't have ANY problems at this HARDEES #2829 However on the contrary my OPINION has changed. I went to this location to get lunch on 10/24/2020 for my family and my debit card was swiped twice for the same purchase of $26.63; unknowingly until a day later when it posted to my bank account. I expressed to my bank only one purchase was valid and I had to file a fraud charge with my bank to be reimbursed monies for that second invalid charge. Regardless, of my bank refunding me one of the charges, WHAT A HEADACHE! Now, I ATTEMPTED to call THIS Hardee's #2829 to resolve a second invalid charge of $26.63 however I was not able too because the first call was answered, I was greeted by a guy and a background female voice screamed they were not supposed to answer the phone. Second call was directly, intentionally unanswered. And the third call was greeted by a female and once again a RUDE female voice in the background screamed to immediately hang up the phone. Only, two assumptions for a why scenarios, since there was NO resolve for the issue comes to mind: That an employee is charging people twice in order to take the money from the register or that said employee is doing this to buy food. Regardless, of this MAJOR MISTAKE: This is ridiculous! This is rude! This is Theft! I will never go to this location ever again. Or use credit/ debit card to purchase from...

I'm just going to get to the nitty gritty. As my girlfriend and her grandson walk in and stood at the counter. Took 10 minutes before we was greeted.. that's fine after ordering the cashier NEVER told us what the total. It wasn't till after I said something the the young lady in a black sweatshirt working drive through that the cashier wearing a red shirt. She seemed like we was bothering her. Then. Then 5 bag was order 1 h ham and cheese 1 dbl cheeseburger we got 2 h ham and cheese that was pitiful looking.

Food finally received child's grilled cheese was the only thing on the tray that looked appealing. They told me they was cooking my chicken straps. THEY WAS COLD WHEN I RECEIVED THEM.

My mom and I went on a field trip to Busch Gardens with my little sister's middle school band and on our way home, our charter bus broke down for a total of 3 1/2 hours. It was 8:30pm and none of the kids had eaten sine 11:30am. Not to mention we were still cold and wet from being in the rain all day. We managed to drive a few miles up the road and that's when we saw Hardee's! Our saving grace! All 50 of us rushed in to order and the Hardee's workers couldn't have been more hospitable and polite! There was only one cashier and yet the service was so fast I couldn't believe it and the food was hot and delicious! We had to stay there til 11 pm and they took it like champs.
