So disappointed with my experience with Huddle House, last night I ordered from doordash with me being sick I figured this would be an easier way to feed my family boy was I wrong. Only one thing out of my order came correct and everything else was incorrect and poorly made. I ordered 14 chicken wings with the sauce off as I was going to have a couple of them and I like hot sauce but they were for me and my son to share and he doesn't like the sauce is hence to why I ordered the sauce on the side but they came smothered in sauce. For my other son with mayo and American cheese instead he received two crumbling overcooked patties thrown on bread with some onions thrown on the corner of the bread, my collar was supposed to get mac and cheese and instead of calling to tell me they were out of mac and cheese they sent what was left of it which was a glob of cold nasty mac and cheese. I called to tell them about the issues and was toll to contact doordash but it was not their problem so when I called doordash they were only going to refund $10 out of 70 this did not make me happy so I called back to tell them that doordash was not very helpful and the girl who answered was very rude and replied " I don't know what it is you want me to do for you I am just the waitress you're going to have to call back in the morning and talk to a manager I then asked for her name and she hung the phone up on me Then when I've tried calling back she would just keep hanging the phone up so today I reached out to the manager who claims his name is Mike and is also the owner of the store is what he claims was even more rude than the girl I spoke with last night insisting that there was nothing wrong with my order and there was nothing they could do to help me and a matter of fact don't come back in the store or order...
Read moreI placed a rather large order on 6/25/23 @ 11 am through door dash for pickup. I noticed that when I got home, I was missing a waffle. Me thinking it would be an easy fix, I called Huddle House and let them know that I was missing only one item. The young lady who picked up the phone told me that in order to get my waffle, I would have to “Go through door dash and file a complaint”. I told her that i didn’t want to refund the whole meal nor get anyone involved, i just wanted the missing waffle. She then proceeds to tell me that —-“In order for us to make your waffle, you have to refund the whole transaction through doordash and pay again, Because so many of you LIE on the doordash app”. I was shocked. Even though I love huddle house , I was called a liar and was told that i would have to speak to her manager on Monday, just for a waffle. I arrived at huddle house 10 mins later to speak to someone and two other women apologized and gave me my item with NO problem. I’m not sure why i was called a liar and put through the wringer for food I paid for. I’ve never had an issue with my orders previously, a little Accountability would’ve been nice. That was so unnecessary. My order was already $50+ dollars but to insinuate I was lying and make me go through hell over a $2 waffle is appalling. Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would. We ordered food for delivery through an app, my girlfriend ordered a medium rare steak. When it arrived, it was completely raw, as in absolutely uncooked on one side. I handled the refund through the app, but decided to call the store manager just to let him know his cooks are serving raw meat and it should be addressed. The food I could have overlooked as a busy rushed kitchen making a mistake. The manager, however, was patronizing and rude. He tried to explain to me what a medium rare steak was, which I am well aware of what it should be and explained it was hardly seared, raw not even rare. So he then told me he was on the cooking line himself, and patronized me further telling me the cooking times for their steaks. Mind you, I wasn’t seeking a refund. I called as a courtesy so they didn’t end up with a food poisoning issue. I can see now where the problem was, management that doesn’t care about food quality or the safety of the people who eat it. I filed a corporate complaint, but would urge people to not eat here until a change of management as clearly, they don’t care about your safety and will happily serve you raw meat along with 1000 excuses as to why it’s okay that it’s raw.
