Dunkin' — Restaurant in Sugar Grove Township

If you want good food and service, I strongly recommend you go anywhere else but here. I tried to give this location a chance, as it’s close to home. I have made this mistake far too many times, as it is evident they do not care about me at all. I’ve come here a few times recently, and I make it very VERY clear that, for health reasons, my coffee needs to be decaf (I am aware decaf still has some caffeine in it, but it doesn’t keep me up all night so that’s all that matters). Every other coffee shop I’ve been to are able to understand this, but these people have been getting my order wrong every single time. I even ask before I leave “this is decaf right?” And the response is usually annoyed “yeah”. I wouldn’t be writing this negative review at 3AM if they were telling the truth. Even when I order something else like food or a non caffeinated drink something is always wrong. For example, in addition to my coffee being made completely wrong, my bagel was burnt, making parts of it completely inedible. Last week, my frozen beverage was all ice, no flavor at all. I am done. More often than not, drinks are either not stirred or do not contain any cream or sweetener despite mobile ordering ahead of time at this specific location. Mobile ordering takes the guesswork out of the drive thru conversation and negates any chances for misinterpretation of the order. I started coming to this location regularly back in April of 2024 when we moved our office to Sugar Grove, got coffee or tea every weekday for a few months, it was a 50/50 shot it would come how I ordered it. End of August, I stopped going to this location and changed my entire route into work just so I wouldn't have to stop at this Sugar Grove location and I started going to the Dunkin on Eldamain and rt34 in Plano(inside GasNWash).

Now that I live in Sugar Grove, the Plano location is out of the way, and I tried Sugar grove location again today, 9/18/25, low and behold, no cream or sweetener in the coffee...

It would appear to me that at this point I'd be better off going across the street to the Starbucks, paying a dollar more for the same thing, and receiving it mixed, and with the cream and sweetener I...

I am not usually someone to complain about things, but this dunkin is repeatedly terrible!!! Service is very slow and nothing is made properly. Went through the drive thru this evening and it seemed the staff was upset that I ordered food (because there was a line of cars forming behind me). All I ordered were ham & cheese roll ups (literally two pieces) and the guy working the register had to explain what they were to the employee making the food. What I received looked like two ham & cheese wake up wraps, which contained the same ingredients, but were not prepared as advertised and were poorly put together. I could hear the girl making them say “i don’t know what i’m doing, i’ve never made these before”. Maybe the owner should look into training the employees properly to run a smooth drive through on a simple item that isn’t rocket science.
