My daughter and I pulled up to the drive thru speaker. The date was September the 12th approximately 6:25 so you'll know who was working that time.We sat there for 10 minutes. We said hello a few times. Nothing for 10 minutes. There was a car at the window ahead of us that was being given their food and left. Seeing that after the 10 minutes we decided to go ahead and pull up to the window to order. We got to the window sat there for 5 minutes where I saw a man washing his hands. I tapped the horn. He pointed to the cashier area or toward the front and then he walked over there. He walked back to the cooking area still no acknowledgment from the cashier or whoever was taking orders. We sat there another 5 minutes with no acknowledgment. We decided okay we'll back up to the speaker. We sat there another 5 minutes. Nothing so we pulled back up to the drive-thru window. While sitting there I watched a young lady complete and give an order to someone in the establishment. I looked behind me as a car pulled up to the speaker and now she presses her headset to acknowledge them! At this time I honked my horn for her to come to the window to let her know we were already at the speaker a while and no one answered. And we also sat at the both window the speaker for a total of more than 15 minutes and no one said anything to us. Well she comes to the window rude and as I try to explain that we were at the speaker first but no one said anything she angrily starts going off about her being the only one there and everything else and helping someone else. She was very disrespectful. She acted like we did something to her when all we wanted was to order. When employees are at drive-through and they have other people they are serving they at least say "Pease hold a moment. I'll be right with you." but there was nothing. Just a real bad attitude as she took our order. So we ordered our food $43 and some change. In the meantime we could hear her and the young man making jokes about us and our order. I honked and she came to the window still rude. I told her that my daughter and I heard her and the cook making jokes and talking about us. It was at this time I asked for a refund her. Only then her attitude changed. She refunded my $43 and change and I went to the other location in Town center. I will not visit that location again even though it's closer to my home. Something needs to be done about the training and how to deal with customers. It wasn't like they had 6 to 7 cars in the drive thru like Town Center did when I got there. If they don't want to be in customer service industry then they should find a different job. Management should also staff accordingly on Friday through Sunday so she won't be so mad...
Read moreI sent my 17 yr old son to place an order from the Popeyes app with one of their family meal coupons at the drive-thru. It was a 14 piece tender, 2 large sides, and 5 biscuits for $19.99. He was told by the drive thru rep that the coupon was only valid on certain days (which was not true), so my asked to use another for the same price that consisted of 10 piece chicken,, 2 large sides, and 5 biscuits and was denied again. He was then offered to order of their drive thru menu, which end up being an 8 piece chicken, with 1 large side, and 4 biscuits for $19.99. Not wanting to come home without food, my son took the suggestion. When he came home and told me what happened. We went back up there to resolve the mix up.. i spoke with the Manager Evelyn Mencias and explained that my son was not given the option to use the valid coupon from the app and only given the option off the menu that end up giving us less food for the same price. She stated for some reason the system was not allowing them to input the code, but that we could order thru the mobile app to accomplish the same goal. I said ok, I will order thru the app for what we wanted, but wanted to get a refund for the food my son just placed and that we had the receipt for. She declined to refund our money. Ms. Mencias (the Manager) understood what happened, but took no accountability for the fact, that her team did not even understand or provide the correct information to my son about how he could place the order we originally wanted in spite of a flaw with their system. The drive thru person barely spoke English to begin with and spoke to the Manager in Spanish, so I can not translate his defense to telling my son the coupon was invalid when it was not, which the Manager agreed it was not a coupon for certain days. We recently went a few times and one time was through the long drive thru line at one location but this time we went here but ordered online for drive thru pickup and with nobody being there but the workers, we still had to wait around 15 minutes. This most recent time that we went, were told we had to wait 12 minutes and to go park unless we wanted regular instead of spicy. If I wanted regular, I would've ordered regular. We parked and it took 6 minutes for them to bring it out. You would say, "well, that's a good thing", oh NO it was NOT!!!!!!! Come to find out, it wasn't fully cooked and got everyone sick. We couldn't figure out why we were sick until we thought about it and realized we all ate the same tning for dinner and then went to look at the leftover chicken and discovered that it wasn't cooked all the way. How in the world do you serve undercooked chicken of all things?!?!?!?!?!?! You're a chicken place, you're supposed to know how to handle and prepare chicken. I'm just glad that nobody had to go to the hospital but I lost the money that we paid for the chicken (we only ordered chicken and no sides) which was $32.46 and the gas money to go pick up what made everyone sick and to sit in the parking lot and wait. They didn't even include napkins, everyone knows you need napkins when you eat fried chicken or any condiments but it's whatever, we don't have to worry about them anymore since we'll be going to KFC from now on. Gave it one star because that's the lowest it goes, they should be so ashamed...
