Third time in a row I have wasted my time with this specific Starbucks. It’s the only one with a drivethru near me, but seeing as though the past 2 times I’ve come here I’ve had to walk in anyway, it’s at the bottom of my list now.
First time I came here was about 6 months ago, I ordered a large caramel ribbon crunch with no whip. Instead, I got what I joke about as crunchy milk…no caramel whatsoever, no drizzles, nothing, and they put whip… size small. I pulled out of the drive through kind of stunned, so I immediately pulled into a parking spot and walked in to ask about it… only THEN did they tell me they were out of caramel…. Of course after I paid for it.
Second times a try, 2 months later, I ordered a seasonal drink (I can’t remember what drink) and a bagel toasted with cream cheese . The drink had some sort of crunchy topping and I knew I would like it so I asked for extra crunchy topping…. They then proceeded to tell me that the extra teaspoon of topping I wanted would cost me an extra $1.50…. Nevermind… I get to the window, pay, get handed my items and I pull off. Only to get home, open my bagel bag and see that they didn’t toast my bagel… no biggie, luckily I’m home and have access to a toaster. Inconvenient, but manageable.
Today was the last straw though… went through the drive through, ordered my drink….. “I’m sorry ma’am, we’re out of our seasonal syrup.” Okay… fine I’ll build my own drink so I ask for recommendations. The drive through lady said sugar cookie, I said yes. I also ordered a bagel, toasted with cream cheese. The drink was extremely basic. Tasted like regular cold brew with cold foam. No flavor at all… I was handed the bagel and as I pulled out of the drive through, I looked inside my bag to make sure everything was there…. No creamcheese. I had to park my car just to walk in yet again to fix another mistake made. When I walk in, I’m told “we charge extra for cream cheese”. Yes, I know…. But I ASKED for a toasted bagel WITH CREAM CHEESE the first time….. she hands me a cream cheese. I walk out and head home. Only to spread the cream cheese all over both half’s of my bagel and bite into SOUR creamcheese. I was so hungry, I had already eaten half of my bagel before I had noticed it was EXPIRED. If I get sick, I know who to blame.
Also, figured I’d mention, I have never ONCE gotten a receipt for any of these orders.. so how would I know if I’ve been properly charged for the creamcheese if you don’t provide me with an itemized receipt
Three strikes and you’re out. I’d rather drive 3 extra minutes to a walk-in Starbucks than ever come to this...
Read moreI’ve been holding off on this review for some time now. Mostly because I understand people have bad days, but tell me how the barista with the pink hair always manages to be so rude every time I come. Yesterday was my last straw. I ordered my drink online. I had gotten light mocha drizzle on it. When I picked it up, it was caramel. Obviously this wasn’t a huge issue, but I asked the barista if they could remake it and showed him that the sticker said light mocha drizzle. He looked at me in disgust, and then asked for the sticker back. I gave it back to him, and he came back moments later with my drink. I’ve been ordering this drink from this same starbucks for years now. I think I know how it’s supposed to be. So of course, I was confused when I saw that my drink was filled with mocha! I had only asked for light mocha drizzle. I didn’t have time nor the energy to ask for another drink. I really couldn’t even drink it, so I left it as is. Later, when I went home I poured the drink down the drain only to discover that 1/4 of the cup was filled with mocha! Honestly, that was pretty petty of him to do that to me. I’m quite frustrated because I wasted $6 on a drink that wasn’t even good (not to mention the insane amount of sugar in it).
Anyways, I’m only writing this review because this isn’t the first time that the barista with the pink hair has given me a terrible experience. There was another time where I had went to this location to study. Terrible idea because the smoke detector kept going off. I had asked him what the noise was for, and he was like i don’t know you’re just gonna have to deal with it. Obviously I know he didn’t have control over that, but he could’ve been nicer and explained it.
The other baristas here are quite nice. It’s honestly just this one guy I am frustrated with. That’s why I’m still giving this location a 2/5. Though seriously, some of the staff here need to be retrained on...
Read moreI'm a regular, never really had an issue before. Today was my birthday and I guess they don't do birthday rewards which sucks because someone told me they did and I do come here very often(this exact location too). At the front when I asked if they did birthday rewards, the guy asked if I had the app which I did, he told me to scan then had someone else come and handle it, I thought this meant that they did do birthday rewards...then the lady told me my total was 6$. LOL, hopes crushed. Afterwards, my matcha latte wasn't filled to the top, on the venti cup it was filled to the invisible line right above the black line, the rest was all foam and bubbles from the shaking. Not a big deal since I understand the rush, but even the taste wasn't the same as usual. I could barely taste the matcha today and that's the first time I've had an issue with the matcha. It really just tasted like milk. Maybe the service left a bitter taste in my mouth, or I had higher expectations for a 6$ drink, but I was pretty disappointed. I hope the old staff members come back. They were great :( I have not seen them recently.
And note to others starbucks is literally freezing so please bring jackets if yall plan...
