Joe's Italian Foods inc. — Restaurant in Sullivan

I ordered shrimp alfredo and portabella mushroom ravioli. Well when the delivery guy gets to me he didnt have the shrimp alfredo which was for my brother who had to leave for work in 15 minutes. So I gave him my food. The delivery driver said hed have them make me the portabella ravioli at no charge. When he gets here I'm charged. I called the restaurant and explained the problem. Oh and they didnt bring me mushroom raviloi they brought shrimp raviloi. I cant eat shrimp, I gave my brother my food so he would have something to eat. I call and they refused to do anything. On a side note my brother said it wasnt good enough to go back. If I'd known the delivery driver brought me shrimp alfredo I would've refused it and therefore not been out any money or had food I couldnt eat. The women said they were a mom and pop restaurant, which I get, but my money is also precious. And it was there mistake, accident or not. Why should I have to pay for their mess up. And I was told I couldnt have the mushroom raviloi I had to get what I originally ordered. Now if I wasnt paying for it I could understand but I did. The only reason I even asked for the mushroom raviloi is because I gave my brother mine so he could eat before work. I think this was not handled right in many ways. Joes is a wonderful, local owned restaurant serving delicious and authentic Italian dishes! Whether we are dining in, grabbing carry out or ordering delivery we are always greeted by a polite, friendly and courteous staff who treats customers more like family. The Portabella Mushroom Ravioli covered in Alfredo sauce is one of my favorites! The Rosa sauce is also heavenly on any pasta dish! Love their salad choices as well! The Greek or Sicilian are the perfect combination of ingredients. And of course you can’t go wrong with the pizza! They use such a quality cheese and my kids love it too! I stopped in after work to pick up a pizza. I stood there for a few minutes before being waited on. When I was I was asked to answer questions about leaving a tip. I'm a very good tipper but not when someone expects me to for handing me a box. When I got home I had the worst pizza I've ever had. The crust was so thin it almost wasn't there. There was barely any sauce or cheese. It was uneven and bubbled. It was cut into little square pieces about two inches wide.
