Sweet Vail Café — Restaurant in Sullivan

I was not impressed. I have been in here a few times and each time my drink is so beyond watered down every time I get it. I went in today and the wait to order didn’t take long she was quick about getting the order in and all I ordered was a drink. I had a few people in front of me and a few people behind me all the people ordered food and a drink. Everyone in front of me got food and drink and then everyone behind me got their food and drink while I still was waiting on my one drink. I sat there and saw the girl making my drink for 20 mins while she made concoctions to use for my Party Popper Lotus drink and poured some out into a small throw away cup and had to try each concoction before she would pour it into the cup overfilled with just ice. I was in there for 25-30 mins before I got that drink and right when I got it I told her thank you and left. As soon as I got in my car about 30 seconds later I tried it and it was beyond watered down. I paid $7 for a drink that took 25-30 mins and it was completely watered down. Extremely disappointing. I have gone inside a couple of times now. I am just not a fan of restaurants where I have to work to get my order. I had to wait in line for a good amount of time to order, then stood to wait to get my food, then had to find a place to sit to eat. There was only one place left because seating is sparse. There also wasn't a garbage can to throw anything away in the area where we sat. The food was mediocre for the price (mostly bread). I have also gone through the drive through twice. It was a long wait both times and the thing that really irritated me was that both times, they didn't have what I wanted. They were already sold out of 3 things I chose. I gave them a try. In the drive through I tried to order an iced breve which is a pretty standard thing for a coffee shop. The girl taking my order rudely told me they didn’t have that and when I tried to explain that a breve is a latte with half and half she interrupted me and said she knew what it is but said I couldn’t order that because she didn’t have a way to charge me for it. I’m not sure why it was too hard to just put half and half in my latte instead of regular milk and I would’ve been fine with an up charge but instead I paid for a coffee I didn’t want. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a coffee shop that didn’t have a breve on the menu or at the very least allow you to switch out the milk.
