Better Days Coffee & Acai — Restaurant in Summerlin South

My go-to local cafe for coffee, vibes, and focus.

I’ve been to dozens of cafes across Vegas, but Better Days in Summerlin has that it factor. Vibe is immaculate—cactus-lined counters, hanging plants, wood tones that feel like a cozy cabin, and an energy that makes you want to stay awhile.

Most weekends, I roll in solo with my laptop, grab a flat white or latte, and pair it with their toasted bagel or açai bowl.

Whether I’m knocking out deep work or just recharging, it’s the perfect environment. Quiet enough to focus, cool enough to feel inspired.

When the weather's nice, I like the outdoor seating—especially the tucked-away patio out back. And when that’s full, the front terrace still gives you sunshine and solid people-watching.

Crowd is young, stylish, creative millennials. You can come to work alone or meet up with friends—either way, it's perfect.

This is a really nice coffee shop that is kind of tucked away in a small lot. My main reason for going to this coffee shop was because of how the interior looked and it definitely didn’t disappoint.

There’s different types of vibes all in one shop. Whether it’s for social or productive reasons, this place has a good choice of options for you. You have options such as a corner bench, a separate work type area, outdoor or just your basic chair/table.

They have a good variety of food and drinks as well which I’ll have to try some time in the future to give a better review on that alone. I’m pretty boring with coffee as all I’d get is cold brew or iced americano.

Yesterday, I went to a coffee shop that had no coffee. Their machine was broken, and they had no backup plan. Other customers were even joking about it—a coffee shop with no coffee! Unbelievable.

Today, I gave them another chance. They brought my food to the outdoor table but left the coffee inside, just sitting on the granite counter. When I raised the issue, the staff member simply said, “We’re busy.” No apology, no accountability.

When I explained that customers expect to receive their food and drinks together, she decided to argue instead of acknowledging the mistake. She refused to give her name and—surprise—turns out she was the manager.

As a business owner myself, I hope the owner reads this before the brand gets damaged by poor management. One bad experience can be overlooked. Two in a row?...
