Block 9 is located in the corner of the building and can be missed if you're not looking carefully. We went on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't packed. The set up is like an Asian fast food joint. The food came out in about 10-15 minutes after we ordered on disposable trays. Food was good but the price is a tad high for the amount of food you get compared to another Thai restaurant of the same caliber.
Pork Skewers ($14): This came with 4 skewers, a side of sauce, and sticky rice. We poured the sauce over the rice and skewers. It wasn't strong but complimented the meat and rice well. The pork skewers were a good size, tasty, and tender. The sticky rice was okay.
Lunch Drunken Noodles ($12) with Combo Pork & Beef ($3): They gave a generous amount of protein - pork, beef, & shrimp! The pork and beef were standard but the shrimps were really juicy. The drunken noodles were delicious and addicting as well. The wontons were crispy but didn't really go with the drunken noodles so I felt like it was its...
Read moreWow is my belly full and happy! I've been in Summerlin for about 3 weeks and I have been craving some good Thai food. This place came highly recomended through a co-worker. I ordered the Spicy green bean pork: just the right amount of spice, the sauce was creamy and delicious, the veggies were perfectly cooked and the rice absorbed all that sauce. Yum. The E-saan sausage: some of the best I have ever tried! Crispy outside and savory juicy inside, full of flavorful pork/chicken? with rice, you get 3. The Thai iced tea: normally I find these super sweet in other places but this tea was just right! Creamy and refreshing, definitely hit the spot and helped to calm some of those spicy tones in the food! Nittaya's bread pudding: so delicious. The combination of the pudding and the coconut icecream was superb! All of the food went well together, I will definitely come back again and try it all. You should give it a try, you...
