Wow, where do I begin? I will say the food is good when it comes to the chicken and the beef items. Your side items are pretty good but you service is super super super bad I know for a fact you should have more one and two star reviews that people just don’t take the time Like me and my family. You have six highschoolers standing around no customers we come in we stand there for about a minute nobody says hello can we take your order until I say something about six people standing around talking about goofy stuff I can hear their conversations Including the manager in the black polo shirt, then the manager speaks up and says oh yes, can we take your order? I believe Vincent tall young man. Is his name curly blonde hair still didn’t acknowledge us blank, facial expression just like the rest of the staff that was upfront. We usually go to the drive-through and 50% of the time get our orders wrong by the time we get home and we’re very hungry and we spend our time and money at their restaurant waiting and we’ve had a long day at work. Can we get home and food is missing This time we went to get better service you get two Culver’s sauces per order of chicken tenders. We ordered three boxes. We get home and there’s two Culver’s sauces in the Bag sure first world problems, but we’re paying money and spending our time here. Not anymore Chick-fil-A has your business now. Chick-fil-A Service, as everyone knows Is over and beyond their food is great and I think her food is really good also but when it comes to service and getting the orders right Chick-fil-A, hands-down has to be basically every single time. Mrs. Knox I’m just saying, I think your business is going to show it in the numbers and it won’t be just because there’s a new restaurant in town and then everything will level out It’s gonna be because of the customer service at your restaurant and the number of orders that are Unbelievably wrong food missing heck even when we were there one of the younger employees brought us someone else’s order that were burgers and fries. We order no burgers and fries. The gentleman was standing behind us in the seating area and raise his hand and said it was his common mistakes, but this is something that happens all the time it seems If you order online or use a drive-through, I would say almost 50% of the time it seems like your order is gonna get messed up by the staff and that’s just from my personal experience in reading the other reviews on here. I make it an effort to go out of my way to give good reviews in person or on a phone call but when you’re tired, disabled veteran and still doing for your community and you spend your time and money at a restaurant, you just want to enjoy the food, but when the water is not right when you get home You certainly do not have the energy to turn around and drive back however many miles it is . Your location served it’s purpose for our family, but it will be Chick-fil-A now right down the road Thank you and hope that you can have a turnaround in your staff...
Read moreWe stopped in on Monday and Israel took our order. He was kind and patient and verified what we ordered, etc. After we pulled around to wait for food (after paying obviously), a young man whom I thought also took our order was actually in fact his brother Isaiah. I only know bc I called and spoke to a manager. Why did I call to speak to a manager you ask? Well let me tell you!!!
When Isaiah brought food to my window, he was in the middle of verifying (he was also so kind and polite and could tell he was trying and took price in his job) when an old and short woman with a brown ponytail came up and began belittling him! She was in her 50’s… maybe 60’s. Worse, she did it in front of me! Who knows who else she began airing her grievances to before she thought it was a good idea to grieve about it to me. She was negative, disrespectful, and had zero patient and nothing polite to say about those two brothers. She said she has had to deal with too many new people and them not doing a good job. They were actually trying to do a good job - both brothers. I saw the efforts and positive e results. They did nothing wrong in my opinion, but she did! I praise the brothers’ parents for raising such patient and kind young men that take pride in their work and are positive. Shame on the grumpy old lady for being a problem. If my children were not in the car, I would’ve gone inside and addressed it right away instead of only calling. Those two boys and others like them are what keep us going back… we all know it’s not the high prices or the...
Read moreWith fast, friendly service and a casual atmosphere, Culver's on Ladson Road is a great place for a meal or quick snack with the family. After ordering at the counter, pick your choice of table, booth, or barstool-style seating and put your order number tag on the table (white one pictured is for a frozen custard order). Food is prepared and delivered quickly and is delicious. I love bringing my boys here after school for a snack and a relaxed place to do their homework. The food is great and the staff is courteous and professional. Definitely recommend!
UPDATE: often the best measures of a restaurant are how well they operate during a rush and how they handle mistakes. We came back for lunch today and they were slammed. Our oldest is a bit particular and doesn't like anything other than cheese and bacon in his burger, but when we got it, there was mayonnaise. We let the staff know and they made a new one, but it had all the condiments this time. We let them know again and they made a new one perfectly and were very apologetic, even giving us a coupon for a free scoop of custard. Very impressed with their dedication to making it right!
Since it's Friday and we have Lent coming up also, we decided to give their seafood menu a try. My wife had the shrimp and I tried the 3-piece cod dinner - both were really good! Yes, we live in a place with plenty of amazing seafood restaurants, but if you're having something quick, you could definitely do far worse. Still very satisfied with our experiences...
