Once my bf put me on to this place... It became one of my favorites! He used to hang out here after football practice when he was going to Summerville high school. I'm mad it took him a year of us dating for him to put me up on game! 😂 I love the ice cream it is so good. This time I ordered the chicken tenders plate and it is pretty good. Not an ordinary chicken tender. It has flavor. I come often now! Thanks for the experience.

I stopped by The Freeze in Summerville and treated myself to a sundae and strawberries — and it did not disappoint! The ice cream was smooth and creamy, and the strawberries were fresh and sweet, a perfect combo. It’s a great little spot with that classic, old-school vibe. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. Perfect place to cool off. This was my first time here, and it was awesome.

My expectation may have been too high for this particular establishment. The guy at the front counter,took the order without acknowledging me which was disrespectful and rude. He’s blowing as though putting the order in was exhausting. Never looked up ONE TIME. When I paid for the order by cash, he drops the change away from my hand. After all of his drama, he still didn’t get the order RIGHT.

Been coming here for over 25 years, we ordered exactly like this " I would like two double cheeseburgers minus pickle with a little extra mustard and ketchup" We get to the window and my wife wanted a simple zebra cone, well even though the guy was at the register and no one behind me, he was going to make me go all the way back through the drive through to get a simple zebra cone. Ridiculous on that note. But what's worse, instead of giving us a little extra condiments, they drowned them in the stuff so badly the buns were soaked from top to bottom. Rude service, and horrid food. Waste of money. Also, they use battered fries now and they are disgusting. Horrid experience, waste of money, waste of time, and we will NEVER be coming back. Good job, y'all lost loyal...

There was a bit of a mix up I ordered just a burger in the drive thru. I received onion rings no burger. That's is no big deal the issue I had was I shoved my hands right in that bag to get my burger and touched the onion rings as soon as I realized the order was wrong I went inside to retrieve my Burger. The people working took the onion rings they mistakenly had given me that I had touched back behind the counter then turned around and gave them right to the next person who was looking for their onion rings. I had my hands on them I find that a contamination issue not only did they serve them to the next person but also took them behind the counter and cross contaminated things back there. As a kid in high-school, this was a good to every day.. for just a couple bucks I could get an after school burger, hang out with my friends without worrying about getting kicked out for over staying our time and could just be at peace with my buddies.. now, a decade later, I came back for a tastee burger. Still cheap, still a "tastee" burger, still a homey little spot to sit down and eat.
