Kodiak Cakes — Restaurant in Summit Park

Beautiful grocery store - nicely lit, clean, good selection. Unfortunately the experience I had there "undid" the positives. I'm on the road, tired, and looking for some supplies. I stood waiting at the deli for a couple minutes hoping to get some sandwich meat. No-one was there at the deli. I walked over to a group of employees and asked for help. Turned out the deli person was stacking some products in a display of some sort - a rotisserie? Must have been; she was putting chickens there. "Just a minute and she'll be with you" I was told. She nodded to that and continued with what she had been doing. I made the Protein-Packed Blueberry Muffin Mix. Muffins were excellent! Delicious and filling. I did use 1/3 cup of unsweetened applesauce in place of the oil which makes them lower in fat and very moist. There are not many companies who provide wholesome freshly ground ingredients with no artificial preservatives and flavors, and I applaud that. However, why have 23g of sugar! It's the 2nd ingredient listed in your Nutrition Facts. Given the fact that guidelines do vary, the most generally regarded health recommendation for consumption of sugar is not more than 25g per day for women! So 23g is way too much for one item at one sitting. Please, please consider making a lower sugar product that would truly be appreciated in an all-around...

As the name suggests, it is a stalwart American product.

Kodiak could be a moniker for strong and full- bodied 'cause after eating "Kodiak Cakes" ' Kodiak waffles and pancakes, you are ready to take on the day, or sleep through a cold Winter's night.

I have been a devoted user of the "Kodiak Cakes" for atleast 2 decades now; and exclusively purchase their waffle and pancake mixes.

Although, I have tried their: muffin mixes; oatmeal; and frozen waffles and pancakes-- equally good quality.
