Subway — Restaurant in Summit Township

I do not EVER leave reviews but my family and I just had a horrible experience at the Vandercook Lake location. I went in to order dinner for my family of 4. I ordered 3 meals and asked about the possibility of ordering a chopped salad, I was rudely told no, and she asked for the next customer's order. I was not finished ordering. She never offered any of the salads that are currently on the menu (I checked the website after I left). Upon arriving home, a long dark hair was found in one of the subs. My husband took the sandwich and hair back to Subway. He asked for the sandwich to be remade. He was denied a new sandwich because it would "screw up inventory". He also asked to order a salad and stated he would pay for it and that request was also denied. The contaminated sandwich was taken by the employee and she threw it away, never even offering a refund. He was also threatened with having the police called on him. Half of my family got dinner tonight. I paid for a confiscated sandwich. I'm glad it was my kids who got to eat tonight. I will never be going back to this location even though it is closest to my home. I will be sharing my experience with any and all people I know who might visit this...

Terrible service. Employees are rude. Made a sandwich with one of their HAIRS in it but was first told I can't remake that because that would mess up their inventory. Then I asked for it to be remade and a salad made that was refused to my wife basically because she asked for a chopped salad and not a regular one. Then I was told no I'm not making a salad just you're sandwich and if I didn't like it she would call the cops. (That was a first) I lost my cool and yelled because of the way i was being treated and left. Was never apologized to or anything. Guess what I was never refunded either. 30$ for 2 foot longs that were 80% bread... like 2 pickles on each half, maybe 3 olives each half, and I paid for double meat and it looked SUPER thin, a pinch of lettuce in the middle of the sub, and basicallythe same for all veggies on both subs.... Called the store and they said "there's a new policy that they can't give out many veggies anymore". This is highway robbery, and absolute BS. Wish I could post my photos in the review!! I'm super ticked. Could have went to speedway and got ft long subs for lile 8$ each 😑🙄 I feel CHEATED. Yall can sky rocket y mour prices to 12-18$ each sandwich depending what you get, but you get LESS...
