I walked into place in order. The young lady Who was on the thinner side and had red long hair at the ordering counter was more worried about preparing her personal pizza. getting ready for lunch then pay attention To the guesses they were walking in. I stood in the counter as she gossiped about how good her pizza is. To the young gentleman who was cooking the pizzas before she turned around. And even acknowledged me then she came up and took my order. I explained to her in detail what I wanted and she submitted the wrong order then she proceeded. To go take her lunch which took an exact 44 minutes When they called my name that I walked up to the counter. The other young lady That was there who had brown hair give me my food. I explained to her It was not what I ordered she very kindly and graciously agreed to exchange it. If I was not happy, she went out of her way to bring me my food to my table and also brought me. 3 little custard cakes for the inconvenience of the mistak in my order. This young lady is definitely somebody who shows. Kindness, respect, and compassion. Definitely the makings of a great leader. If you ask me, I wish I would have gotten her name I think it may have been Roxy.. Then the young lady with the red hair came back in Started to talk to the gentleman who was making the pizzas and he stated. He took more than thirty minutes When she remarked very loudly. We're the whole restaurant can hear. You're one to say anything as you don't show up for half of your shifts. Then they proceeded to gossip on how she has called out when she had a cold when she had some kind of graduation and so on and so forth At that point in older couple came in And the ordered some food as she was taking their order. She loudly screamed. Yes, fifteen dollar tip and proceeded to count the money in between. Her behavior and demeanor is very off. Putting given the fact that she is a one who receives everybody as they walk in. She definitely seems young and immature. And definitely somebody who needs a little bit more education. When it comes to working in the food industry and...

I need to do gluten free - which is tough to do when you want really good pizza. Before I figured out my gluten problem Farrelli's was the bomb pizza - and sorry Zach, but it's still the best around (though I suffer for a few days after eating a regular Farrelli's pizza). BUT, when it comes to gluten free pizza Zach's wins out over Farrelli's by miles and miles!
The staff asked me if it was by choice or for allergies. Caught me off guard, so asked the difference. They said if it was allergies, they'd wipe down their surfaces, pizza oven area, and make sure my pizza didn't come into contact with gluten. Kind of cool - Farrelli's never asked that and as bad as their gluten free pizza is I'm sure it came straight out of a freezer box (it's worse than most frozen pizzas - seriously).
Zach's gluten free had good chew, thin crust, and decent crust taste. Throw in I had their Fatty Patty and I must say that combo of meats and ranch was delish. Better than most frozen cauliflower crust pizzas from the store. Oh, and it was loaded with cheese, like LOADED! Yum!
Recommend this place... Oh and wife ate a regular pizza and enjoyed it. Not better than Farelli's, but good none the less....
Read moreIt's my first time trying out Fat Zach’s pizzas from their food truck. So, this review is not really for this business location, but this is where I would dine if I were to eat at Fat Zach’s. It's the closest to Federal Way.
I was able to get my hands on the pizza. It took about half an hour to wait, and I got the Fat Boy Slam and the Poly Pig Slam for $34.20, including the tips.
The pizza came out partially cooked. It was soggy, with the ingredients falling as I picked up the slice to eat. I thought the pizza was baked in a rush with high heat to accommodate many people in roughly an hour. The crusts on the bottom of both pizzas burnt, while the surface was soggy and a bit uncooked. The three gentlemen were working hard to accommodate everyone, and it was the pressure that I saw to crank as many pizzas as they could in a short period.
I would have enjoyed it more if it was in the restaurant setting. It's probably more relaxed, and the employees have more time to bake the pizza. It's my first time having Fat Zach’s pizza, and I just wanted to share my ‘food truck’ experience with you and...
