Good: The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was easily accessible within walking distance of the lodge. Bad: The food was overpriced in my opinion. You are paying for the location and the fact it’s on a resort. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and for what I paid it I would give the food 3 stars at best. The biggest issue I had with this place was the service. Now yes I know we had a big group of people (20 of us), but I have gone out to eat with large business groups of similar size and I have never waited so long to process payments. Once we requested our checks it took over 30 minutes to receive our bills and finally pay. When it came time to leave, I checked my receipt and I was charged for someone else’s meal so I had to get it fixed. Add another 10 minutes to get someone to fix the receipt. I felt like an afterthought since our server seemed kept pushing me off to take care of other customers. Perhaps this was just a bad day for our server or they were shorthanded, but the wait was far too long long for us and it frustrated me leaving me feeling like they don’t know how to handle large groups. Next time I will try...
Read moreThe front desk here are lacking in some serious training. I work front desk and have for years and this front desk lacked any and all hospitality. There was four of them huddled around the front desk talking, two facing the door and two with their back to the door literally blocking the front desk so we had to wait until they stopped their conversation and somewhat acknowledged we were there. One gave somewhat a smile and the rest stared, no greeting. When we left all four were huddled back around the front desk talking and we had to walk past them to leave and all four ignored us and the group who left behind us in order to continue their conversation. The front desk are the first people you meet so its really a shame that everything else here was great but that the front desk ruin the welcoming vibe with their lack of hospitality and thats a failure on managements part. Its very simple to teach your front desk team how to greet and...
Read moreOur waiter last night, january seventh was wearing a mask and sounded like he had the flu. Barely able to talk, he kept coughing and clearing his throat. He explained how this week was much better than last week because he was bet ridden last week. Does anybody realize that ninety percent of people that visit the restaurant are on vacation. A vacation they've worked hard for all year long, and now they're enjoying the beautiful city of Sun Valley. The very thought of how irresponsible it was for letting that man wait tables and serve food was disgusting. He was clearly incredibly ill. When I asked him a question, he could barely talk.He said you have to read the menu.I can't talk and he kept clearing his throat. Never in my life have I seen anything like this before. The health department should shut this restaurant down immediately for allowing such an...
