On the evening of 4/26/25, my sister & I decided to get something to eat at this Denny's after finishing a 17 hr drive from California.
We walked in & it was basically empty with the exception of one large party of 12 to 16 ppl who appeared to be done earing and another table of 6 who were also done. We waited a few minutes before multiple peiple appeared from the back. One lady sat us at a table in front of the table of six who were done eating. The waitress never asked of we wanted anything to drink, water etc. She didnt even say she would be back in a few mins. She sat us at the table & walked off.
We looked at our menus for about 5 mins before noticing another waitress sat this older couple on the opposite sode of the restaurant then asked if they wanted something to drink.
We waited a few more minutes before realizing our waitress wasnt coming back. As we were walking out, we observed the waitress who sat us at our table & the one who sat the older couple talking up a storm.
I understand people may not want to serve certsin customers. There are people who have bad days & want to do the bare minimum. If thats you, then you shouldnt work in the service industry. I would have left the lady a really nice tip, but her lack pf customer service & unwillingness to do her job for whatever her reasons were, caised her to lose out on a $10-15 tip.

Read moreUnfortunately, I have to leave a poor review. We were seated promptly. However, once our order was placed everything fell apart. The cup of fruit I ordered first for my toddler never came out. My mother's plate showed up but the rest of our order was over 8 minutes after that. I nibbled on my mom's english muffin while I waited for the rest of our food. There was other staff wandering around but nobody seemed to help the 1 waitress frantically serving the other 5 tables. Tables were left uncleared. When my (Bonless Wings finally arrived they were way overdone/burnt.)So I had to wait for that. Thankfully, my salad finally arrived along with my daughter's plate and the fruit. My second round of wings came out and part of me thinks they just reheated the first order. Looking around I could see I was not the only one frustrated with the service here. Upon checkout, I asked who the manager was and came to find out she was actually part of the "staff" I witnessed that offered little to no help. After working 15 years mysef in the service industry, I couldn't believe a manager would leave her one server without any back up or guidance. Read moreIt's really hard for me to enjoy my food here sometimes because of service or food quality. They're either taking too long to make my food, taking too long to come back for check ins or not check in until the end of the meal, or food is just sloppy. This morning was different though! The server (Jayla) was checking in every 3-5 minutes and the food was made by cooks who ACTUALLY made the food look presentable. It was as if the whole crew cared for their customers and were making food for family and not for money. As a former GM for another restaurant industry, I'm constantly looking at things like this, including the time it takes to bring food out. I only go here because my 4-year-old enjoys it, otherwise I wouldn't visit on my own. Great job out there today morning crew! It enjoyed it so much, I had to tip the cooks for the quality.
