Hardee’s — Restaurant in Sunset Beach

I was so excited to get a Frisco Burger after a prior experience at the New Hardee’s on 17 N near Shallote.

However, there was no consistency between the two, other than the Dr. Pepper.

I had to wait 5 minutes, which I didn’t mind being 11:15 I figured they’d gone through their first round of fries or had to wait on a fresh burger. I got neither. The tomatoes were coldish, the burger was the same temperature, the fries were barely warm. Service was friendly, though there was no quality control. I understand why only one car was in the drive through. Locals must know better. I ate the burger out of sheer starvation. Immediately wanted to puke and return the food. I had a Dr. appointment and was in a rush.

I’ve boycotted the Southport store for 6 years after a similar experience. Super long wait (30min) and cold food. In Southport they have concrete barriers so you can’t exit the line while waiting forever.

I’ve been on the crapper every couple hours for 2 days after digestion. I’d post a picture of my diarrhea but no one wants to see that. Something should be done. Whether they are reusing old product or not heating the food.

The new store on 17N is fantastic and that will probably be the only Hardee’s I visit...

Very disgusted with this place. Your young cook in the kitchen has a very bad attitude, can't handle his job and is obviously beyond lazy! He made my hotdogs two times and both were wrong. The nice lady behind the counter finally made them for me. When I came back the 1st time, he began cussing about me and insulting me and he knew I could hear him. Get some real help for the girls up front. This manager cant possibly care about them, the customers or the restuarant. Or about making money since you waste it on lazy, disrespectful employees. To the dude in the kitchen, go home. No one deserves to be treated like that. Who do you think pays your salary? You are a sorry excuse for an employee and I'm sure you have and will cost this location to fail miserably. So pat yourself on the back!...

I’ve had better from here before. I ordered dinner for my family and was excited to get home to enjoy our meal. When I got home and started getting everyone what they ordered, EVERYTHING was wrong but the chicken strips. The chicken sandwich was literally doused in too much mayo and only two tiny pickles on the whole sandwich. I also ordered 2 double frisco burgers and neither of them had any mayo or cheese on them, too much lettuce and tiny, tiny tomatoes. And not to mention the burger patties were cold. The fries looked, felt and tasted like they have been cooked and was just sitting there for a long time, because they were really greasy and cold. For $55.00, I was expecting a lot better. That was a lot of money for terrible food. The service was...
