Felicia's Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Superior

Decided to try a local ice cream shop as a special treat. Ice cream and rootbeer float were fine but what was very disappointing was the treatment when I asked to use the restroom. We eaten our ice cream outside on a bench in front of the front window of this restaurant. When I went inside to use the bathroom, the owner or employee told me I couldn’t use the restroom. When all asked “why”, I was told the bathroom had been “foamed” and was redirected to the public restrooms across the street. Interestingly, there was no sign on the bathroom indicating it was “Closed for cleaning”nor did the owner/employee state this when I headed toward the bathroom. Based on this conversation, I’m assuming that I wasn’t allowed to use the bathroom for whatever reason. Terrific Mexican food, which apparently they only sell on Saturdays. Generous ice cream portions. Everything at reasonable prices. Inside and outside seating. Call ahead to see if they're open. Open from noon to six. Tip generously...it's a mom and pop business, and they work hard. I never regret spending money here. My wife and I love this place and gladly drive an hour just to come here. Customer Service: Excellent. The personnel were friendly, professional and courteous with great recommendations on what to try! Cost: Fair and equitable to Dairy Queen and less expensive than yogurtini. Taste: Delicious with a wide variety of ice cream. Parking: Excellent. Handicap Accessible: Excellent.
