Hurricane Grill & Wings-Surprise — Restaurant in Surprise

Waitress Lindsay was horrible. We've been here once before and loved it but NOT TODAY. We do not know if she is new but it was ridiculous! It was me, my fiance and our 2 kids. We all got our food except my fiance. Some other lady dropped off our food. We didnt see Lindsay for a whole 30minutes! Not over exaggerating at all. When she finally came we were already almost done with our food. I gave some of my food to my fiance of course but when she finally came we told her she never got her order and also needed refills and I ordered another thing of wings given the fact I got all you can eat wings. She went back, we waited another 15 min and she came back and said I'm sorry its my fault my boss is giving her meal for free. We were like wow okay awesome. She goes missing again for another 30 minutes. We told eachother okay if shes not back by 6:03 we are leaving. (We got there at 4:30) and my fiance still didnt get her meal. She finally comes with our food at 5:55. We still stay nice. As we bite into our food it isnt even hot, not even warm. My fiance and I knew it had been sitting in the back for a bit so at this point we knew it wasnt the cooks. It was our waitress. She was MIA the whole time. We saw other waitresses constantly checking on their tables but NOT LINDSAY. Shes a sweet girl but really didnt do her job well. Our kids were getting so impatient. Everytime I ordered my next order of all you can eat wings it took forever and they were just warm. Except the only one time they came back at a decent time and were super oven hot.. Hmm weird how that works huh. You deliver them on time they come out hot.. You dont deliver them on time they come out a little warm or cold. Anyways our kids were getting irritated because of all the Waiting. So I'm just getting sick of waiting so long just for another order of 5 wings. So when Lindsay finally drops them off I ask for to go boxes and GUESS WHAT SHE SAYS? "You cant take the wings to go." At that moment I decided she wasnt getting a decent tip. My fiance was outside entertaining the kids because they were so bored with all the waiting. They come back in and I tell my fiance what Just happened. Shes furious I mean all this waiting and her being so unattentive .. The LEAST she could do was let us take the wings home. My fiance wanted to speak to the manager but i didn't want a bigger fuss. We took the wings home anyway. I get the receipt and she overcharged us.. I got it fixed but fronr desk. Lindsay on got a $7 tip.. And trust me.. We arrived at around 6 pm on a Sunday night. They weren't especially busy, we were seated quickly. Ordered the appetizer, and asked for a drink that was featured on an insert menu & were told they were out of that. So we made other choices. The whole visit went south very quickly when we gave our orders to the server. I ordered the Caribbean chicken breast with garlic parmesan herb sauce, my husband ordered the firecracker shrimp tacos. Upon telling our server, she informed us that they were out of 8 of the flavors of sauce, one of which was garlic parmesan herb sauce. (She shows us a list of them & I told her that info would have been helpful BEFORE we made our choices) They were out of firecracker sauce as well, and out of PARMESAN! This is something that is prominently featured in a lot of their menu items!! The server said she would ask if they had anything else to sub it with. After 15 minutes had passed, she came back and told me they were out of chicken breast too!!!! At that point, I told them all I wanted was my check. We left and we'll NEVER BE BACK! What kind of restaurant runs out of so many menu items on a single day?? One with terrible management, that's what. Absolutely a 1 star place. Don't waste your...

Update: Groupon was honorable enough to allow us to trade in the $18 on another restaurant. Love Groupon!

I used to love this place. But we got a groupon that we let expire in November. It was for fries, 20 wings, 2 drinks and dessert and we paid $18. The amount that you pay never expires, though, and we should be able to apply that to another deal. However, that deal is now converted to fries, 20 wings, dessert, 2 drinks AND 2 burgers with 2 sides. Far more than we ever would order for a meal and now going to cost us a LOT more to use. They should gve you a choice of wings or burgers, but not make you buy both. Or, just let you apply the $18 to a meal of your choice, like everyone else does. Very disappointed.

Note to managers answer : yes, I know you no longer offer this deal, but you should let us use our credit for something comparable to the original one we bought the groupon for . No 2 people are going to eat 20 wings plus 2 1/2 burgers plus 2 sides, plus fries, plus dessert and drinks. So we have to order all that extra stuff to use our original $18? Not very customer friendly to people who go...
