I will start on the positive. The staff were courteous . To start with they brought us chips and salsa and I ordered the Gallo dip also, I ordered soft tacos and tostadas my wife ordered the taco salad . The gallo dip supposed to have ground beef and pico in it. It tasted a little funny as good my tacos and tostadas. If that’s what they want to call them the tostadas did not have a tostada shell. It had a taco shell broke in half and put together to make one so-called tostada, it had meat cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream When you order a tostada figure you’re going to get a tostada one round shell with everything on it not here I ate one taco and went to eat the tostada and could not pick it up it was in two pieces and the taco shell it was on was mush the meat tasted different or strange. I have had that taste before just at first could not remember what from then I remembered it taste like ground turkey not beef . My wife’s taco salad had a lot of beans. There were supposed to be refried beans, but they were real runny the taco bowl broke immediately from being softened up by the runny beans, and everything just poured out onto her plate. I would never go back there and eat again To me, the food was horrible. It’s like things were just slapped together. The so-called ground beef did not taste like ground beef taste like ground turkey if you’re going to sell tostada’s have real tostada shells should use real ground beef and I don’t think you’re supposed to be able to pour your...

I don't normally do this, but it has been weighing on me...we had dinner at El gallo this past week. They have the blocks on the table that you scan with your phone to see the menu, which is cool...however, my phone does not read these menus. When I asked for a menu to see, the waiter told me I just wasn't doing it correctly, and asked me for my phone. I again told him my phone doesn't read the block, can I please see a menu. He got very irritated and walked away. He didn't come back for some time. When he did, he dropped the menu and didn't say a word. He came back about 10 kindness later to ask if we were ready, and refused to even look at me, like I had completely ruined his day. As he walked away, another server brought an entire armful of menus past out table to the host stand. If they have these, shy the attitude? My food came out and it was completely grease and fat. I feel like he was treating me differently because I had to look at a menu. Thus was my first time here, and I assure you I won't be going back. I understand the need for hands free things in this time of crisis but to be like this over a paper menu...completely unacceptable. I still tipped over 20% because I know how it is to be a server...but this issue is just getting...

Best Mexican restaurant in West Virginia, and I’ve tried many. Chips were fresh + hot and the salsa was the BEST I have ever had anywhere.
