If you are looking to eat somewhere near Palisades, DO NOT EAT HERE!! Please read carefully as to why.
We ate here on Memorial Day in the evening time. Wasn't too busy, but the service and food were horrendous. I feel bad for leaving such a harsh review, but the owner needs to be informed that the workers need serious training. Having worked in the restaurant business and industry for several years, I sympathise with the challenges and working with the public, but these following incidents were uncalled for.
No hostess was there to greet us, so we just decided to find a worker and ask for a table. Our first server forgot to come back to us, but we did end up getting a different server after a while of waiting. Thankfully, they apologised.
However, the food took 47 minutes to come out (we timed it) and other families received food before we did. My husband ordered a cheeseburger and the bread was very hard, so he had to eat mine instead. The fries were overcooked so they were hard as a brick, too. It was laughable trying to snap them. At least the baby enjoyed watching the cracking sounds.
Next, we ordered a pizza (crust was rock hard) and we received no plates, so I had to have my baby use his menu as a plate and then me and my husband just ate on the bandanas they provide. Water was only refilled once, and the glasses had been empty for a long time. Server was too busy preoccupied with talking to local friends at the next table, it appeared. Husband had to get up, go inside, and find somewhere to pay since we never heard back.
Sadly, we chose to leave no tip, but the restaurant nor worker definitely did not deserve any extra money. Our exchanges with the server were pleasant, when we were able to see her, that is. Wish she had asked how the food was, though, but we were leaving by the time she returned.
We ordered a make your own cheeseburger and a 16" pizza that night, if you would like to check the history, time, and workers who were present. Sorry to see such a place with great potential be nothing but an incredible...
Read moreWe were making a delivery in Swan Valley and it was late enough that we decided to stop for dinner. We had heard the wings were really good that our friend would drive from Idaho Falls to eat them. So we thought let’s do it. The atmosphere was inviting and the place is all decked out in Christmas and was very nice. The service personnel was very nice and helpful to us and making us feel welcome in a very local environment which made being there that much better. I loved that people knew and talked to each other about people that live in the valley and dealings. I’m nosy ok lol. We ordered a little variety so that could get a true sampling of the food not just the wings. So we got wings in 2 flavors and the calzone which was a special this evening we were there.
The wings were good and flavorful. My wife is a wing snob lol she likes hers with more of a rub than a sauce but overall they were great.
We had the all meat calzone and had them add mushrooms and that was good as well. So overall I would give this location a 8 out 10 on the food. 10 out of 10 on service. The bathrooms were clean and seem like they have just updated them as well. They have rooms for rent here and were told they are reasonably priced. If your in the area stop by I’m sure they will be as welcoming as...
Read moreNot exactly what I 'd expected regarding this price.||1. First impression ... a strong smelling when we entered the hallway, I guess it was caused by the consumption of weed or similar... while this is not really our business, the problem for us started when the smell got into our rooms because the doors have ca. 2 cm opening at the bottom|2. beds are unstable and squeaky with the slightest movement |3. We turned on the electric heater and it emitted such a horrible smell that we had to turn it off again (therefore needed to sleep with some extra clothes on)|4. Dogs barking in the hallway until close to midnight, then starting again before 6 in the morning|5. 2 bathing towels for 5 persons?|6. 2 rolls of toilet paper for 5 persons staying for 3 nights?|7. a microwave (not even working!!), a miniature fridge - yes. But no dishes, nothing. Not even a table. Cheap money making .... I think so.|8. 10 inches between the toilet and the vanity. Really??|9. Not a single wardrobe hook in the rooms.|10. Wardrobes stuffed with things ... didn't feel like trying to use them.|11. I pulled one towel from the metal holder that was screwed to the wall - the screws came off, the whole construction fell from the wall. |12. Not possible to lock the bathroom while...
