Rays Place inn — Hotel in Swan Valley

This is a unique hotel and it's part of Ray's Coffee Shop. The rooms are in an adjacent building that houses Yoga, a Gym and a car repair business. Above that are the hotel rooms.

Right now there are two rooms completed and we stayed in number one. It's quite a hike from the door to the second floor. No elevator.

The room is nice with a very Western feel. I'm dinging one star because the room is dark at night and the shower and sink are in the room with no lighting for the shower.

We booked the room through hotels dot com and there is no way to contact the manager/owner. We left early and left the key outside...

While visiting the area, I had the chance to visit Ray's Place. This coffee shop was very cozy and the service was excellent. The lady that waited on us was super friendly and nice! When you're inside, it feels as if you were at your neighbor's house drinking a cup of java. They even have a drive through! Only nice thing about this motel is the room looks creative and fun and clean. By the way it’s really an Air B&B. If you are a light sleeper STAY AWAY! Walls on the freeway side are paper thin and every car woke my wife up. If you can’t do white noise and use the wall fan to block noise you’re screwed. If you can’t do stairs STAY AWAY!
