The food is not all that great not happy the drinks are good but you know the menu says steak Philly with Swiss cheese and then I find out I'm getting American cheese. I wasn't happy about it then the waitress said oh they're switching out to American cheese well guess what I don't eat American cheese who does Cheddar's better and Swiss is even better. Then the waitress tells me oh well they're getting new menus. Well if they their getting new menus then the owner should relate this to the waitresses so they know when somebody order something they'll know it. And I have worked in the food industry I have been a caterer but you know what don't promote something that somebody don't like American cheese would never be what I would ever eat in my lifetime and the waitress came out and said well we're switching to American cheese. I was sick to my stomach when I looked in the sandwich and seen I don't know it was yellow cheese I don't know if it was American she said it was colby jack how do I know I was not impressed...
Read moreI had a hamburger and beer out on the patio. The hamburger was great, and so was the service. Begin rant, High-school is ok to attend again but not restaurants. They must not eat lunch at school right? Wouldnt that be the same as restaurants being open? Maybe they all got the vaccine that doesn't prevent you from getting or transmitting the disese. Maybe they realized less than 500 people under the age of 24 have died from covid in the whole country. I find a mass shutdown a bit insane if you figure i literally have a higher probability of dieing from a motorcycle accident than from covid. What is the end goal? Wear masks forever? Don't educate our children? Destroy most buisinesses that are not owned by billionaires? Isn't it strange how so many of the people making the policies don't abide by them? I dont have the answers but I can tell bad ideas...
Read moreWe used to frequent Jan's during the warmer months to sit on the patio with our staff at lunch. Unfortunately the last several times we have been there, there has been a guy on the patio smoking weed the entire time. Smoking it, rolling it, going back inside and then the process starts all over again within 10 min or so. I'm not a prude or anything but it's not really an environment I want to take my staff to. I'm shocked it's even allowed to be honest. I didn't think smoking was allowed even on patios at restaurants in the state of Michigan anymore. Maybe I'm wrong. The staff are usually great and the food is always pretty good. Hopefully we'll be able to go back next...
