Local Grindz — Restaurant in Sweet Home

Local Grindz of Sweet Home, catered a 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration that was held locally.  The food was delicious and the guests mentioned this many times throughout the event; even our guests who have been to Hawaii or worked with Pacific Islanders agreed that it was authentic Hawaiian at it's BEST.  The event coordinator/manager was very thorough and explained each menu option and assisted with selections.  The owner, Christopher, was exceptional!  He not only cooked the meal and set up, he also called a few days before to review the menu and make any necessary changes.  On the day of the event, Chris set up the buffet and stayed in contact throughout the event, even stopping by to refill the trays with hot food (he lives locally so a quick drive from home to event); afterwards, he even cleaned up the buffet and with our permission, delivered leftovers (after guests took what they wanted) to the local shelter.  We would highly recommend Chris and his team for your next...

Wowwwww I think this is my second review so I apologize but this is only because this food truck deserves a Michelin star! I have had the privilege to travel around the world And try some amazing food in my life And that has to be the best Hawaiian food I’ve had !!

The chocolate macadamia lush pie is amazing

The tsunami chicken is delicious

But that gingery citrusy hot sauce you just gave me this afternoon was perfectly balanced and truly something to be proud of, It actually reminds me of this Guyanese Restaurants hot sauce in Portland Called bake on the run (also highly recommend that place) You should Bottle that and call it Worth the heart burn.

We love local Grindz Ben eating here since day one of opening! Food is always fresh and good size. It’s Ono meaning it’s delicious I’ve tried just about everything on the menu and it’ brings back comfort food from home in Hawaii. And to think we can just drive 15 min to get a piece of home means allot to someone who grew up on Oahu Hawaii. Quality of food is always on point. I appreciate coming out with my Ohana. My new favorite is the poke pig lol half poke/kalua pork. 50/50 soo worth it!!!!
