Read moreMy son, who has spent one third of his life in quarantine, quietly asked me today for some ice cream. His eyes sparkled with endless excitement as I replied to him with a firm yes! Upon entering the Firehouse Creamery, one can instantly smell the fresh desserts and delicacies that are for sale. It was a sunny, mid-September afternoon that our growing two year old with his long sleeved, blue dinosaur shirt fixed his eyes on the chocolate ice cream from the famous Firehouse Creamery. Read moreBest ice cream in the entire eldersburg /Sykesville area! The ice cream comes from the local south mountain creamery and it is delicious. There is a small amount of seating inside the building plus plenty of seating outdoors on a patio that overlooks the train bridge (which my boys love) and the rest of Sykesville. We love this place so much it has become a permanent Sunday outing after our cross country meets. Oh, I almost forgot, the sprinkles are free (chocolate...
