Though the store is not to blame but Pizza hut's $10 discount for online orders above $20 is a big time scam and trick to fool the customers. Even if one places an order above $20, online, they will not honor the discount code generated after you having spent 10 minutes in completing the survey, with an excuse that some items on the order are already on sale. A fair deal would be to give $10 off on the online order total, no matter what items are on sale already. How is this online survey promotion providing an added benefit to customers who take it as opposed to customers who don't. The store manager said that some times the existing deals are better than getting $10 off on original prices, and the store excuses itself by saying that we cannot apply two discounts. I feel pity for the incompetence of the promotional and marketing managers of Pizza Hut in designing such silly schemes that in fact annoy customers more than it pulls them to the chain, and makes it hard for the managers to explain it to the customers. It is not about money, but rather giving a fair and just deal and incentive, it is more about business ethics. I decided not to pick my online order of more than $26.68 today because the store won't apply the $10 discount code. The manager kept on insisting that you are better off paying the whole amount, that saves you more than the $10 online survey coupon. How fair is this? There cannot be a more stupid promotional scheme. How is my incentive any different or better than a customer who has not taken the survey, and orders the same items? To be fair Pizza Hut should have allowed me to apply $10 discount on top of my current order. There is a saying that, one can fool some people some time, and fool all people some time. But one cannot fool all the people, all the time. I hope better sense prevails with Pizza Hut...
Read moreI received a call from the driver who for some reason could not find my house, it is in the middle of town, asked me for directions, gave them to him, and waited in my own driveway to try to make a little easier for him. He still delivered my order to the wrong address. I contacted them asking where my food was, they remade and had it delivered again. I understand mistakes happen but they still charged me full price and it was 2 and a half hours later. I finally ordered from them again a couple months after the first incident and my entire order was wrong, I contacted corporate this time. I ordered $40 worth of food for a football party, received an entirely wrong order-and reported it. I was told thank you for contacting them and they will get back with me. It’s been over a d$&$ week and I still have not...
Read moreI've ordered from this place periodically over the years and the quality has been consistently terrible. Consider yourself lucky if you receive anything remotely close to what you ordered and even if it is correct, it's probably not edible. Believe it or not, the service is usually almost as bad the sub par food. Occasionally you may come across an employee here that has a remedial grasp on the concept of customer service but, more often than not, you'll be left waiting or just plain ignored until a time that is convenient for them to acknowledge your presence. There are too many other pizza choices in town to waste your time...
