Went in after spending the weekend floating the Illinois river because of the high ratings. Was extremely disappointed. Were seated fast, & food was prepared very quickly are the only positives I can come up with. None of our food had any flavor whatsoever. The guacamole appetizer is just smashed avocado with no seasonings, or other accoutrements. The waiter treated us as an inconvenience, & rushed us out never checked back to see how the food was. The food however was awful. I've been a chef for 20 years, I've never tasted anything so bland. Out of 9 entrees the only person in our group that ate his meal was the street tacos. He said that the cilantro, lime, & onion made them enjoyable. I wish we'd all.orsered them because the rest was unsuitable for such a high rated restaurant. I ordered the Nachos which were watery and greasy. The hamburger meat had little seasoning, & I can only assume the shredded chicken is precooked, & kept in water. I was the only one there waiting to be seated, when a couple came in. The waitress seated them first and never came back. Had to ask someone at the kitchen door to help me. The waiter abandoned me and I had to ask for him. He wasn't attentive.

Ordered the Shrimp fajitas and it was in an unexpected tomato base with grilled onion and green peppers, tasted okay. There wasn't enough sour cream (very small dollop), guac, rice, beans, lettuce or Pico de Gallo to accompany the dish, you have to order more, but they charge for it. There was a generous amount of 12 - 13 medium sized shrimp. 😊 Please go at least 2 hours before closing time, as the help starts sweeping and mopping up while you are trying to enjoy your meal, scraping the heavy wooden chairs across the floor VERY loudly, in spite of requests not to do so. Very jarring! 😣 The flan was splayed flat and a very small portion of it. Had to order extra tortillas because it came with just 3. Took most of the meal home and added my own guac, sour cream,...

I have been visiting this restaurant for several years for lunch. Friday July 26th I arrived for lunch. I ordered chicken fajita nachos. The nachos arrived about 20 minutes later. The restaurant was not busy. I should have taken a photo. Apparently my order was forgotten. When the server brought it to me, they just dropped it on the table and left quickly. The cheese had already congealed on the chips and the chicken was overcooked. I only took a few bites of the chicken pieces and pushed the plate aside. No servers ever came and checked on me while I was there for almost an hour. I had to walk up to the cashier who asked me which table I was sitting at and I pointed to it. When asked if I wanted a receipt so I could write my tip, I told her I was not leaving a tip. I tried explaining why, but other customers walked in and the cashier brushed me off.
