Chile & Chili's L.L.C. — Restaurant in Tallahassee

Ive been in tallahassee for 7 years now and everytime my parents (born and raised in bolivia) come to visit, i always take them to eat some sort of latino food and they always think its meh. However when i took them to Chile & Chili’s, they could not believe how good it was and said it’s definitely the best food they’ve eaten in tallahassee! Amazing price and they do not go light on the portions neither! I usually get 3 tacos at most places but here i just get two cause theyre so filling!!! And the red sauce they serve with tacos is not for the weak! I love spice but sometimes i can’t even handle the red sauce and more places should be like that!!!! (Dont worry the green sauce they serve with it is very mild) also the horchata is to die for!!!! I love this place with all my heart and would eat here everyday if i didnt live 5...

I visited for the first time today and I got the horchata, a birria pizza, a carne asada burrito and a tres leches cake to try a few things. the best thing was the horchata, it came in a huge cup! it was creamy and not too sweet. unfortunately, I did not like the tres leches cake :/ I took a little bite and the whipped icing was good but the cake itself tasted like it had been in the freezer. the birria pizza was okay. i think I’d like it more if there were some more additions to it. but it was better than the carne asada burrito. i didn’t taste much in it besides the meat and rice, I didn’t get a lot of flavor from the pico. their green sauce is pretty good. the cashier was nice and it was about a 20 minute wait, not so bad! Very authentic. I've tried lamb tacos and the chicken burrito. Both were very epic. The green sauce has avocado, I had to avoid due to allergies. The red sauce has some smoke and a decent amount of heat. You can sit outside and eat or take your food to go. The food truck at the Flea Market by the same place has the same high quality food as I experienced at this place. Staff are very friendly. There is a condiment bar with pickled onion, cheese, salsa and more to dress up your food. We also tried the beef Cheeks tacos. Fatty and have a very decent taste.
