As someone who absolutely loves Moes and has been eating it for years, I can say without a doubt that this is the most disappointing experience I have ever had with a Moes restaurant. So disappointing in fact that I actually felt the need to take time out of my day to write a review when I have never felt the need to ever do that for any other restaurant.
I came in at around 8:30 on a Friday night and was met with a very unenthusiastic 'welcome to moes'. Which I personally don't mind, I understand it can be annoying to have to say that at least a couple hundred times a day. What matters to me is if I was treated disrespectfully or not, and I can say while they definitely didn't seem like they wanted to be there, I was not treated disrespectfully. Which is why I am giving one star. If the service in that aspect was bad I would give zero stars if possible.
Where I am mainly disappointed was the quality of the food. And when comparing it to other Moe's I have been to, this was the poorest quality food I have eaten. The orders I made upon further inspection when I got home barely had any meat on them. Even on an order where I asked for extra meat. And I am saying this as someone who 90% of the time in the last 10 years I've eaten at Moes gets extra meat on my order, so I have an understanding of how much meat should be on my food. The meat that was on there tasted not fresh to put it lightly. It tasted charred and gummy, like it was sitting out all day. They were out of multiple toppings and a majority of the salsas. And the worst offense to the poor quality was the queso I received was cold. Cold enough to where I had to put it in the microwave when I came home. The only thing I can say I can't critique was the chips, which if you're getting chips wrong, there's a serious issue. Everything in general tasted not fresh and not warm at all.
Overall I can say that the quality of the food was so bad, if the manager offered me a free meal voucher in return. if I were able to, I would take that meal voucher and take it to another Moes because I don't feel the need or more importantly WANT to ever eat at this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve always loved this location, but this last experience was not good.
During this visit I spent $17 on a kidās quesadilla, chips with a cup of queso, and a large drink.
Let me save you the time, DO NOT GO.
My first issue was not feeling very welcomed in the line itself for there being 1 other customer than me in the line. I was greeted and they properly took care of me, as expected.. but Iām used to them having an active conversation with me and making the experience friendly and enjoyable at this location, but it was not.
My second issue was I went to check out & the cashier did not combine my items again like they usually do, which all together makes it a few dollars cheaper than every item separately added.
3rd I ordered a large drink all to find out with utter disappointment thereās no ice which defeats the whole purpose of getting a drink in the hot summertime. I went to ask the cashier who told me they are out of ice but have ice in the back?? I donāt know about yāall, but I normalize that if a customer is asking about something, and you have it, just go get it for them. I donāt understand why they made me feel like I was inconveniencing them to grab ice for me. I didnāt need the explanation, I just wanted ice if they had it.
And lastly I get to the food, which is sloppily put together and the queso was changed which I didnāt like. So I spent $17 just to only eat the kids quesadilla I bought that was sloppily put together.
I definitely wonāt be returning to Moeās again after this experience and Iāve been a Moeās customer for years.
Iād probably return to other locations, but in the past they have skimped me on queso & charged me full price.. and on top of that, I donāt like the new...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAshley (the General Manager) made the two minutes I was there completely miserable. We decided to at least give it a try anyways, didnāt say a word and just stared at us, while I assuming helping a new employee train. We asked to sample the steak, simply because some days it taste completely off, this has never been an issue before until today. Ashley told her employee, rudely, āno it cost us money for that foodā , which I get but 1 small piece of steak will not affect this entire establishment. Ashley then interrupted us multiple times when we were asking the other employee himself that was making our food while Ashley hovered over him and wouldnāt let us get a word out. She proceeded to cut us off with āwell Iām the general manager hereā and āI said we canāt do itā for whatever other reasons she rattled off due to being upset over the request of trying the steak. SURE ENOUGH, we decided to take our business else where which ended in a snarky attitude from Ashley herself about leaving a review and to āhave a good dayā in a very unfriendly tone. Ashley does not present herself at all in a friendly management attitude or even a respectful one. Ashley talked to her employee and customers negatively. I donāt recommend this place at all. Chipotle had a...
